searching the mysql.update.sql script:
> $ grep -i changed mysql.update.sql

most probably, you exported your roundcube database *including*
"drop table if exists" commands. thus, your dumpfile will recreate
the hole database and restore the backup as it was at the time of the
export.

please use the "-f" switch and re-apply the mysql.update.sql script
(already pointed out a couple of days ago)
