Hi Robin

I'm just curious: why did you implement the serialization of session
data by hand? I know that session_decode() is buggy but what about
normal serialize()/unserialize()? Wouldn't that be faster?
Alternatively we could check if json_encode()/json_decode() is
available and use that for better (human)readability of the serialized
data.

Regards,
Thomas
