This is my apache configuration :

  # for emails : full https
  RewriteCond %{HTTPS} !=on
  RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} (.*/roundcube/.*)
  RewriteRule (.*) https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [R]


Makes http://myserver/roundcube/ to https://myserver/roundcube
