Are you sure that the user you put into the db file has all the necessary permissions for the roundcube db? pop3 mail checking

I was looking at the roadmap and under 'Minor feature improvements' I noticed 'Add periodic request for checking new mails (#1307821)'. What I'm wondering is the type of checking done? Will it be able to pop mail from pop3 servers or is it just scanning the imap server used by RoundCube? Thanks, Greg

IMAP error

Hi there. I recently installed Roundcube but I am having some trouble at the logo screen. After I put in my username, password, and my Database server I get this error, IMAP Error in (): Could not connect to rcubemail.esenkay.com at port 143: Die Adressfamilie wird von der Protokollfamilie nicht unterstützt I changed the config folder to my settings. I have no idea what it could be. imaps/login fails

Fresh install on OS X... Giving me some grief at login. Receiving: "IMAP Error in /Library/WebServer/Documents/mail/program/include/rcube_imap.inc (): Open SSL not available;" after clicking the login button. Database is adding entries to "roundcube:session" table but that's about it. Suspect this may be a symptom of using self-signed certs but I'm having trouble tracking down the proper logging facility. Any ideas on how to effectively troubleshoot this? SQL errors with large inboxes

Much cleaner and easier to use than any webmail I've seen to date (including commercial varieties). One problem I noticed immediately, however, is that I get SQL errors with large mailboxes. I'm not sure exactly what the upper limit is, but I had 2000+ emails in my inbox and it seems that roundcube was attempting to issue a very large insert into the cache table. That entry failed. I moved some mail around to see if it was an issue w/ the number of emails in my inbox and was able to get the error to go away by reducing the size of my inbox. As I said, I don't know what the upper limit is, but for mailboxes with only a couple hundred emails in them it works just fine. Wow...this is nice....but....no upper menu ????

This is really nice but I'm getting no upper menu. I did a CVS checkout today so I know I have the latest and greatest and didn't find anything in the archives. Anyone have a similar problem ? I log in fine and can read/compose emails but I have no upper menu to set preferences or the logout button. I'm not getting any logs on errors either from the web server or from the app. Hmmm...I am running php5 on this box...could that be it ?????
