Delete Message - folder message refresh

When I delete an unread message it moves apropriatly to the trash folder, however the unread message count for the folder does not get updated. If I log in with SquirelMail it also shows the wrong message count for the folder until I open it at which point it properly refreshes the number of unread messages and when I log back in to RC the unread count is refreshed there as well. Any ideas? System: Apache 1.3 Php 4.4 IMAP courier latest RC cvs -- Jon Johnson

Actually, I've messed with the patch a little more, as my initial testing was insufficient. Here's what I've found: 1) The $headers_count line doesn't exist anywhere in my imap.inc file. Maybe you patched an older version of Roundcube? 2) I'm still getting some folders that don't show messages, using the rest of the patch. Maybe I'm missing something, but I had to manually load the patch as 'patch' got very confused on line 6, for whatever reason. Any ideas? Has anyone else noticed this issue? Yeah I've definitely run into that one quite a lot. I've looked into it but I can't figure out what it is. In my case, using Firefox in Windows (haven't tested Linux but the results shouldn't differ) we get timeouts VERY often. Say every 5 minutes. how difficult would it be to use a alternate address book conatined in a mysql database on the same server as round cube (and one that I can sync with my apple address book). thanks in advance. enoch

vCard support questions

A few questions with respects to the planned vCard implementation: What are the plans to implement this? Will the address book data be stored as vCards, or simply imported into the database? Will we be using the vCard class, or building a parser from scratch? Is anyone working on this now? RoundCube = very cool!

Hi everyone, First off, let me just say that RoundCube took me less than 5 minutes to get installed and working. It looks great, and the CVS version that I downloaded and installed works perfectly. I haven't seen one bug pop up so far. I'm using the following: * Gentoo Linux * Courier IMAP (shows up as courier-imap-4.0.1) * Postfix * Apache 1.3.x I haven't run into any issues with Courier so far. My main question right now is about plugins & 3rd party stuff. I'd switch over from $other_webmail_package in a heartbeat if there was a way to handle the following: * change passwords (they're stored in mysql) * dink around with spamassassin settings (also stored in mysql) How could I submit these as a "hey, this would be really cool as a feature/plugin!" request? The other package that I'm using has them as plugins. If I was a developer, I'd try to write something myself. Sadly, I am not a developer. Thanks again! -- Jonathan

Auto refresh ?

Hello, Is there a way to refresh the INBOX automatically without have to click on "INBOX" all the time ? The frequence of refresh should by set in the preferences. Thanks, Christian,

format=flowed

I've been evaluating roundcube for a while now, and just this morning installed the latest CVS version for testing. I much prefer the look to squirrelmail, my current deployed webmail system. Anyways I quite a fan of format=flowed in outbound email, as it makes it easier for everyone to read mail. For those who use an 80 character console (like me) the mail shows up correctly, and for those who use graphical mailers like Thunderbird or Mail.app get the benefit of automatic line wrapping rather than having fixed length fields in a large application window. I was wondering if there was any plan to send mail using flowed formatting. If not, I would like to request that it be considered. If so, that's great news. Such as, should you have an 'imap_root' specified, or should 'Sent' be 'INBOX/Sent'? The relevant variables: ============ // only list folders within this path $rcmail_config['imap_root'] = ''; // store sent message is this mailbox // leave blank if sent messages should not be stored $rcmail_config['sent_mbox'] = 'Sent'; // move messages to this folder when deleting them // leave blank if they should be deleted directly $rcmail_config['trash_mbox'] = 'Trash'; // display these folders separately in the mailbox list $rcmail_config['default_imap_folders'] = array('INBOX', 'Drafts', 'Sent', 'Junk', 'Trash'); ============ Yes the last variable is for display purposes only, but when those are set correctly you'll see the sort order correct in the folders navigation. So it's a nice hint that RC found those folders and saves "should" work, assuming nothing was recently broken with your IMAP server, or mailbox. Ethan
