Language resets to value in config file ( 0.1b and cvs 22feb)

I tried to change the language from en_us to something different. Whenever I saved the language all my labels would change to the configured language. But as soon as I click a link I'm getting the language that is in the config file ( default that's en, but if you change it to es it will be spanish..). The language is correctly saved to the database. I've looked into the code and found what is causing it. It is set in two files save_prefs.inc (which is why my labels change correctly after saving). The other place it is set is here in main.inc at line 95. It uses the _SESSION['user_lang'] value. So this _SESSION value should be correctly filled. Is it? No (or at least it's overridden) Check line 82... with that line in place it doesn't matter anymore what language you had saved in your session. When I remove the line everything works as a charm. RoundCube Newbie

I am a new devotee to RoundCube mail and from what I see in the beat I am very impressed. I am running on Win2003 server, PHP 5 and use hMailServer as my mail server. I have a couple of issues which you may be able to help me with (the first is a very minor bug): In the Personal Settings when setting User preferences the language in the drop down list always defaults to English (US) even when the value in the database is another language. However, it is possible to set the required language. Secondly, I am unable to view or access attachments. I have sent myself a mail with a text attachment but cannot see how to view or download it. The paperclip icon appears on the item in the inbox. What am I missing? Thirdly, and possibly related to the above, I have had no issues reading plain text emails but when they are in HTML or Rich Text format (reported as: "This is a multi-part message in MIME format.") I am unable to see the body of the mail. The headers appear and I can view them in the view source but there is no sign of the body. Installation of beta1

Hi guys just done a freash install of roundcude beta one in a directory called beta. Followed the INSTALL file and when I go tot he web page I see nothing. Any pointers of what I've done wrong? [feat] make window.focus based on a pref

Would it be possible to make the 'window.focus()' call in app.js (:156) be based on a user preference instead of enabling it by default. I am currently removing the line on every update; but maybe there a more people annoyed with it; and removal might be an idea ;) --- Sjon

Move to folder

Hi there all! Would it be possible to have a "Move to folder" drop menu somewhere on the message list window? I would like to be able to move multiple emails to a specific folder and that is now impossible. Thanks! -- David Collantes

When Thunderbird moves a message to another folder, the "old" message is marked as deleted and remains in the originating folder until it send the EXPUNGE command. This is usually done when quitting the app. Messages that appear gray in RoundCube are those which are marked as deleted. You can get rid of them by clicking on "compact." Alternatively there's a new configuration parameter $rcmail_config['skip_deleted'] which will completly hide the deleted messages but makes RC run a bit slower because all message listing and counting has to be done using the SEARCH command. > > Timo > Hope this helps... I downloaded and installed the new beta version of roundcube this week. Great job! It really is shaping up to be an excellent webmail client. I did want to share with the list a few of my observations from initial configuration and usage: 1) How does one configure "Pretty Date" formatting? I was able to use 12 hour time in the main.inc.php file for everything but pretty date formatting. 2) There is no way to remove attachments to a compose message in progress. 3) Is there any way to mark messages as "read" or "unread"? I just installed Round cube, and love it. Thanks for making this great software. There are a couple things that bug me about the interface though. The number of messages per page should not be set as a variable, but instead be based on screen size. Since the list is pulled after the main page (be it an iframe or ajax), you can find out how big the viewing area is, and request just enough that you don't need to scroll. If the scrolling went through ALL messages, that'd be fine (1500+ in my case), even if it didn't load the message titles until they were in view. Clicking the next page button to see the next page is fine too. Scrolling just to see the last 5 messages on a page is odd when you have to click next page anyway to see the rest. While I set this manually for now, it'll look odd if I use it on a computer with a different screen resolution. Personally, I'd prefer to see the paging stuff at the bottom, in the same row as the select all/unread/none, but that is just personal preference. There should at least be a way to jump to the first or last page though. The select all/unread/none is great, but not all that useful if you can't do stuff like move them all to another folder or mark them all as unread easily. I'd expect these are already planned, though I didn't see them on the roadmap. Thanks again for this great webmail client! Thanks, Timo
