I've been looking for documentation on how to integrate WebCalendar with Roundcube; is there any? I'd like to write a plugin, I guess, and there's mention of plugin support scattered about but nothing obvious in some cursory source code grepping and google searches. BUG: session expiration

Hi, I've noticed that while reading an email if i select to go to another folder my session expires. Anybody else seen that? PS: would gladly help out with any programming chores :) PS2: Thomas, you suggested that for some insight on programming RC we should contact somebody. Why not put together a page describing the API and coding conduit. PS3: Great job/application

Word wrapping when composing a mail

I've noticed that when you compose and send a mail in Roundcube that if you just type your message and do not press enter every 76 characters or so that roundcube just sends the email with one huge long line of text. This makes people who's mail readers (or things like mailing list web archives) complain and they always tell you off and say to set your mail reader to make a newline every 76 characters or so or else they have to scroll across one huge long line of text. When you view the message in roundcube (the sent folder) it looks fine, the display of the message does some wrapping, but if you view the source then you can see the huge long line. Is it possible to get an option added to set a wordwrap length during composing? This mail has been deliberatly typed in this way to show you what I mean. It should look perfectly fine in the message viewer but the source of the message should have the paragraphs only taking up one single huge long line. Regards, Matt. PS: I've got the 76 characters figure from taking a quick look at the options in MS Outlook where it's set to wrap at 76 chars.

Bug: New mail not showing up in INBOX

While using Safari... If Im logged in and new mail arrives, the Title of the pages informs me how many messages are new and unread in my INBOX, but when I click on the INBOX to update the contents, the new mail does not show up. I must click on a folder other than INBOX and then click on the INBOX again for the new mail to show up. Chris topher(a)rephot.org

Problems with attachments over 2MB

Hello, I've been having trouble attaching any file over 2048KB to an outgoing message. I get no error message either on the RC interface, nor the RC error log or apache logs. When I browse, then hit upload for the attachment, It goes through the upload process, but no file appears in the list of attachments. I've verified the standard problems: php.ini max_execution_time = 300 max_input_time = 300 memory_limit = 72M post_max_size = 64M upload_max_filesize = 60M Apache http.conf: There are no LimitRequestBody or any other LimitRequest fields in the configuration. Am I missing some configuration element somewhere? Thanks for your help

Tabbed Interface?

Apologies in advance if I should have contacted a dev owner directly instead of the list. If this was sent to the wrong place, please let me know the proper place and I'll pursue this there. -- Hello List-- I'd like to have tabbed e-mail, and I'd like a better webmail client. I think RoundCube could be the solution to both: http://www.alexking.org/blog/2006/03/02/tabbed-e-mail/ With the excellent job the dev team has done thus far, I'm sure you've gotten a ton of pet feature requests. However, I'm willing to write the code for mine - *if* a patch would be accepted into core. Basically, I'd like to introduce a "tabbed interface" option (or default, if you prefer, but I think an option is a good intermediary step). The existing RoundCube interface, which replaces the main screen with a screen dedicated to the selected function (reading, writing, choosing from a list), is well suited to accept tabs. I've worked on a number of OS projects and would be capable of creating both the back-end code (using whatever coding conventions you prefer) and the front-end code (images, XHTML, CSS) to add this as an option. I've also got some experience building advanced, cross- platform AJAX applications (FeedLounge). If this is a feature you'd be interested in having in the product? Perhaps there is someone I should talk to about the best way to do the implementation (the 5 minute architecture tour)?
