Is anyone having a problem with the login screen? The fields are extremely large. I have try it on IE and Firefox, same results. Image attached (crossing fingers, so mailing list will that mangle it). Cheers, -- David

hi jamie, yes, i integrated roundcube into another application so that users could login to our larger app and check their email without logging in again. i sent in a patch at the time (can't remember whether that was just to the mailing list of if i also submitted it to roundcube's sourceforge page), but it wasn't integrated into roundcube proper. anyway, that was quite a long time ago and i'm sure it wouldn't apply cleanly to the current roundcube code. i'm happy to help you get this working though - i'll dig up the old patch and we can have a look at modifying it so it will apply to the current svn. cheers justin PS - i'm cc'ing this to the roundcube mailing list in case our discussion is useful for others Jamie Penner wrote: > > Hi Justin. Rich This looks excellent, thanks for your work. The only thing I thought was a little strange was when I save the draft, it works, but then it adds another sig to my current compose window. Just a small thing, but hey, great job, nice implementation, save message and I really like the auto-save feature, that could help me not lose some longer emails.... Drafts Support: Patch!

This patch adds Drafts support (saving drafts, and resuming them later). It's based on the latest 260 SVN version. 1. Make a backup of your entire RoundCube directory. :) 2. CD into your main RC directory. 3. Grab the files: wget http://www.whidbey.net/richs/rc-drafts.patch wget http://www.whidbey.net/richs/folder-drafts.png wget http://www.whidbey.net/richs/drafts_act.png 4. Install: mv folder-drafts.png skins/default/images/icons/ mv drafts_act.png skins/default/images/buttons/ patch -p0 < rc-drafts.patch 5. Test. Re-login to RoundCube, compose a new message, then click the "Save this draft" button. The first time you do this, it should create the "Drafts" folder. Double-click on a draft to open it, or single-click to highlight and then press the Compose button. You should be able to resume where you left off, re-save, and eventually send the message. Drafts are automatically saved every 5 minutes in case your session is lost. You can also click the "Save this draft" button manually. No persistent connections with PHP4

When using PHP4 and setting $rcmail_config['db_persistent'] = TRUE; RC doesn't use persistent connetions. Hello, I just had a look at roundcube by installing it from svn and it works like a charm. However the interface has at least one serious limitation. You can only navigate from page to page with next and previous which in my case with over 3,000 mail in my mailbox make it unpractical, mainly when some mail sent by badly coded application are not dated with the "Date" field in the headers which mean that they appear at the "end" of the list and I do not feel like clicking 3000/40 times to seee them :) On a wish list I would add * an option to only display unread email * a header and footer section in the settings (per identity perhaps) * a way to import contact would be great as well * all the ilohamail feature not yet implemented :p >From an ease of use point of view, if you forget a few "youth issues", this is the best webmail I saw so far - much faster than @mail, it is not far from being as good as Zimbra (which is stuck to lots of backend code). Thomas PS: I tried to create some ticket on trac for this but could not find how to do it, even after registering.
