Conditional HTML and preview pane

Hi, Another go at a preview pane. I implemented conditional HTML which works like this: <roundcube:if condition="config:preview==true" /> html bla bla <roundcube:else /> other html bla bla <roundcube:endif /> The preview code was mostly Thomas', plus a bit of myself to let the user decide for herself. Code is not yet optimized, so it looks like poo, and I suspect IE6 will have problems, because I delete some CSS which made it look strange in IE7. KS_C_5601-1987 encoding in subject

I have installed ROUNDCUBE webmail today. But I have very critical problem that I cannot see the subjects encoded in 'KS_C_5601-1987'. This encoding is very popular in Korea because MS Outlook Express Korean version's default encoding is it. AFAIK The encoding mechanism is almost same as 'EUC-KR', and I don't know the exact differences between the two. The below line shows a example encoded in 'KS_C_5601-1987'. Subject: =?ks_c_5601-1987?B?wMy5zMH2xay4ryBSRrrqt6O15SDAzLinILD4uPAgwMC48C4=?= I hope the encoding can be supported in ROUNDCUBE webmail very soon. Thanks in advance! Sungsoo Kim

Hello all, We recently released RoundCube (slightly modified) for a client of about 30 users. They requested that I provide documentation in the form of a user guide for them. I have already begun outlining the document. I began by looking at the instructions on the wiki, but then decided to just start from scratch. My plan is this: 1 - Complete Outline of Document 2 - Flesh Out Content of Outline (Form Rough Draft) 3 - Will use the rough draft to generate a step-by-step screenshot/screencast utilizing "Wink" 4 - I will take the screen shots from Wink and insert them into the overall document. 5 - Will take key parts from the document and insert them into the Wink screencast and generate an SWF series of tutorials. A portion of my time will be covered. Another portion will be "donated". Once I have a fleshed out copy (step 2), I will probably put it online on the wiki or a google doc. At that point I would like to ask for any and all suggestions and corrections. Wish me luck! :-P Good portion of the outline is already completed. Overall operation of RC is outlined. Began outlining "Reading" of emails. Then just need to cover "Composing" and "Organizing" messages. Well, that is all I have for now. Kevin L.

On threads/conversations feature

Hi all, I'm evaluating roundcube as a base for an advanced gmail-like webmail for customers and I'm looking around in the code planning to add some functionalities. I would like to know your opinion about the threads/conversations thing. I'm thinking about gmail-style conversations, which are sooo useful and pretty especially when you search something and in a couple of clicks you can view the entire thread without further searches. What would be the impact on the code ? Here are my thoughts: - add a db table to hold a list of mail_ids for every conversation_id - modify program/steps/list.inc to group mails in conversations - add program/steps/show_conversation.inc - something around a superset of show.inc - modify js to accomodate the changes (the most unknown part to me, currently) Which are the right directions to take? Are you interested in the feature? Should it be part of core roundcube or implemented as a plugin through the incoming API ? thanks for your attention Michele

I used a generic config file for our hosts to read in the default domain portion automatically. However this lead to a fun time of getting \n characters in the domain added to the database. HTML email problem?

I'm trying to test out sending an html email to myself using mutt, but it isn't showing up correctly in RC, at least it isn't what I would expect. Below is the source of the message. When I open it in roundcube the link "asdf" is colored blue, but I can't click on it. It appears to just be colored text. Is something wrong here? Thanks, Jason

Hi list, I would suggest to change some wordings in INSTALL. Gmail-like conversation grouping

Hi, I've joined the dev list because I really really want gmail-like conversations in RoundCube. I use all my personal emails forwarded to gmail service because I like the gmail's webmail. I manages hundreeds of email a day, so I need an efficient way of sorting and displaying them. blanc page with big attachments

Hi! I'm using Roundcube since several months. Since the last update I've got a problem with big attachments (about 4 MB). When I try to open a mail with a big attachment I can only see a blanc page. Hi, guys! I need some help. I've installed roundcube on Debian but I can't get it to send emails with big atachments. I've already changed the files .htaccess and php.ini but I still can't do it. Can you help me? thanks
