Hi all,
Another new patch, who add support to flag message, as Raphael Kallense ask
for (http://lists.roundcube.net/mail-archive/dev/2008-01/0000055.html)
It's add a column between Read-Unread button and the subject, and use the
flag image present with Roundcube.
Of course, it's use IMAP features to set a message as flagged. It's
compatible at least with Thunderbird (a flagged message in Roundcube is
show as flagged in Thunderbird too).
The patch IS NOT compatible with my latest patch who improve GetMail
feature. I want to say there modify both same classes, and I have to
implement the flagged system with the GetMail button too.
I left locates blank (there is two texts), as I'm not good in English ;)
Patch send on the tract.
Regards,

Hi,
I see a difference between ThunderBird, and Roundcube, with the 'Get Mail'
button.
In ThunderBird, it's update all : unread-read, remove deleted message, and
add new. In Roundcube, it's only fetch new message. As I'm not using only
RC to manage my mail, (I must use IMAP in some situations), when I came
back to my Roundcube I have an old vue of my INBOX, and I have to 'compact'
the folder...
So you will found in attachment a patch who add this :
- - Add new message in the folder, (and not only the recent)
- - Remove message removed in the folder
- - Update read/unread and deleted/undeleted information.
- - Of course update unread counter when it's needed, as before.
I add a check to have this behavior only when the cache is set to off. Of
course it's can't working with a cache, because between the two checks we
will have the same list... (Or maybe RC's cache is more intelligent what I
think ;))
I know, it's wrote "Get new message" in the tooltip. But in thunderbird too
;) (and gmail if I have have a good memory). I think this is useful, and
better than have to press F5 to have a true refresh of the list. But I
don't no if you found this appropriate, so I haven't send the patch to the
tract for the moment, I'm waiting for you opinion.
What do you think about this ? :)
Regards,

Totally understand. And I don't see it as a burdon! :-) Which is also
why I asked you if you can find someone.
Reason is, or rather - from what I remember - we had numerous requests
to improve RTL but so far no one who was able to contribute that.
Should have said that in my first email.
I'll also ask around also.
Cheers,
Till

Please CC the mailinglist. ;-)
Yeah good idea - I'd be for generalizing it like based on this list,
but it's not gonna happen to soon. ;-)
http://greenwichmeantime.com/info/timezone.htm
We could also use PHP's setting for a default to improve this. It
would depend on server setup then. Generally I bet there is always
that one city missing in the list - I can see that. There will be
others who don't know what GMT+2 is. Then again, Google is not far
away. We don't need to bloat the app to add redundant information.
Just my two cents. If you want something else, feel free to open a
ticket so we won't forget about it!

Using Firefox, when you choose a RTL language,
(E.G. Arabic ), the taskbar is crammed.
Here is the fun part - in IE6 it's ok so I assumed it has to
do with the different methods of computing the padding.
I couldn't find a soulution for that.
I'm using the lastes r1131 from svn.
N.B.
1. I removed any changes I maid after the excellent suggestions
of Robin Elfrink regarding RTL.
2. It actually works under IE ( Robin's changes, that is ).
I don't fill comfortable to suggest it into the main trunk though.
I would be much better if a MUCH more knowledgable programmer will
join me on that.

Is there any work being done on users being able to "register" via
roundcube ? From googling, it appears as though you can only have
accounts for IMAP accounts that exist on the server ?
Are there any extensions that might cover this ??
