GnuPG/PGP plugin for roundcube

hello, i'm new to roundcube, but i think it's a very promising project. but i really do miss a plugin which implements server-side support for gnupg/pgp encryption/decryption. searching in forum, wiki, trac, lists etc, I already found a lot of discussions regarding this issue.[1,2,3,4] many people even promised to work on this feature. some suggested to wait for the plugin api before implementing gpg/pgp support. if i got it right, the plugin api is available in the svn repository now. everyone cc'ed in this mail stated somewhere that s/he either plans to or already did work on gpg/pgp support in roundcube. maybe i find the time to work on this feature within the next months. but before i start, please tell me: do you have any code (maybe already using the plugin api from svn) that i could use? my plan is to develop _serverside_ support, so both public and private key will need to be stored on the host that runs roundcube. but in the case that you're the admin of this host anyway this is not a problem at all. second,i don't want to take a usb-stick with me all the time, so serverside gpg encryption is the only option here. and i plan to use the gnupg php library[5] instead of a gnupg library as i guess that more systems do have the gpgme library installed than the gnupg binary. greetings, jonas [1] http://trac.roundcube.net/ticket/1440396 [2] http://lists.roundcube.net/mail-archive/dev/2008-01/0000033.html [3] http://lists.roundcube.net/mail-archive/dev/2006-02/0000229.html [4] http://www.roundcubeforum.net/requests/491-gpg-pgp-support.html [5] http://www.php.net/manual/en/function.gnupg-sign.php _______________________________________________ List info: http://lists.roundcube.net/dev/

automatic addressbook plugin

Hi, I developped for my own needs, and for curiosity about roundcube internals an "automatic addressbook" plugin. As thunderbird or gmail does, this plugin collects the recipients of outgoing mails and store them into a dedicated addressbook. IMHO, the most usefull effect of this behaviour is that each email address you typed once is then avaible for autocompletion. I still have design issues with the plugin : - any alternative idea to the install script ? - in the install script, I wasn't able to catch errors with MDB2::isError() (always returns false). It's my first contact with rc code, with mdb2... and I'm far from being a php guru (neither a php lover to be honnest...), so feel realy free to send me any comment about code or design. I would also need your help to add translations and database backends (just a single sql statement to "translate" in install/<yourdb>.initial.sql folder). At the moment, only sqlite is supported as I don't use other DB systems. I don't know if you consider such a plugin interesting for svn integration, but I hope so :-). There's a few reasons to not force such alignment: - if you use vertical splitter to make left side smaller, mailboxcontrols are wrapped. hi, on line 67, it only checks if it runs on safe_mode enabled. How to reproduce (I tried to nail it down to the simplest case that shows error): 1) Open folder that contains a bit more messages then could be shown on a single page (f.e. 41 message with 40 rows limit). 2) Select and delete any number of messages, but not one and not all. You may do it with either method (mouse or keyboard). 3) Try to select all messages on a page after remaining messages are loaded to list. Artifact is shown. You are unable to select one of messages (which has duplicate in another row). Thus, I'd say that bug shown in Eric's video is not related to a threaded-view patch and is a separate long-standing issue. Hope this will help to fix this. Should I open a ticket in trac? Or someone can find erroneous code quite quickly? Eric, would you try to check it again on a clean RC installation without threading patch? Vladislav. BTW, deleted message rows are not removed from a DOM model, they only switched to a hidden state. I'm not sure if this is an expected behavior. weird LDAP addressbook behaviour

LDAP being used is AD. name_field is 'displayName'. If I specify name_field as 'displayname', then it properly displays names in the list (for search results), but it won't show the display name in the contact details. If I specify name_field as 'displayName', then it displays empty (but clickable) fields in the list, but the display name shows up properly in the contact details. By dumping variables, I can see that the same is happening for firstname_field (givenName in LDAP), but that isn't a big deal since that isn't used in the listing, only in the details. Any thoughts?
