Contact-centric email

My experimental effort in extending Roundcube to provide a 'contact-centric' email experience is progressing ok, although I'm doing some fairly major engineering... The net of it is to arrive at the layout shown in the attached screenshot - the 'contact-centric' view is reached by clicking on a contact name anywhere it appears (otherwise Roundcube still behaves as usual, with folders of emails being displayed in the preview pane.) Contact names appear in the contacts list, in the mail list display 'From:' column, and in the From, To, CC fields of emails. Emails are opened by clicking on the 'Subject', as opposed to anywhere on the entire row. From the screenshot you can see I've got multiple 'lists' on the same page (I'm using an updated Larry style). I.e. contacts and mails, having taken the contacts list off the Larry compose page (thanks Thomas). But I'm dealing with clashes between the lists all the time - I've sorted out the basic 'select' events. Today's discovery is the 'pagenext' etc commands are conflicting between the lists (i.e. the pagenext button on the contact list and the mail list are triggering the same command). Has anyone dealt with this issue before and have a recommended approach? At the moment I'm hacking fixes in as I go along but need to choose between giving the contact list and mail list different commands, or modifiy the receiving code to take note of which gui object the commands came from... thanks... "undelete" on IMAP + folder ordering

Hi I'm using RC 0.8 beta with the Larry theme and I just noticed that I cannot undelete a message once it's marked for deletion. If I remember correctly one used to have this option. By pressing once on the 'Delete' icon you mark a message to be deleted and then you can Purge/Compact the folder. If you click a second time on 'Delete' while selecting an already deleted email, it unmarks it so it will NOT be deleted by compacting the folder. I think this also worked with the 'Del' key on the keyboard. Another thing: is there a way to reorder the folder list so that the special folders (Draft, Sent, Junk) to appear at the top after the Inbox? Right now they appear all the way at the bottom after all my folders. Thanks.

Funky problem -- user's inbox not updating its message list [0.7.1]

Hi, So I did something I apparently should not have: I had a user who wanted to change their email address, but keep all of their contacts and settings and so on and so forth, so I changed their username in the users table, nuked the contents of the various cache tables, and restarted memcached just for good measure. That user, and only that user, now has a problem with their message list not updating regularly. Their message count will update correctly, but new messages aren't showing up in the message list. I can't seem to force a refresh from the UI -- either by switching folders, or by composing a message and then returning to the inbox, or by clicking "Check for messages". If I move messages from some other folder into the inbox, that doesn't force an update, either. BUT, if I move a message from the inbox to some other folder, and then back again, that does seem to trigger a refresh. I've also re-nuked the cache tables and restarted memcached. I haven't rebooted the server yet, because I'm skeptical that it'll do any good. Also, this particular user has 1900+ messages in their inbox. But, I emptied their inbox and still had the same problem, and I've had users with far more messages in their inbox without this problem. User's pop3 access is working fine, so not likely a Dovecot issue. Any clues? Forum issue

Hi, well I know you changed the forum and I have tried it already for days, but with no success. Its about the login, obviously my account got transfered from phpbb to smf with username and email, but my password has obviously changed to something else. The forgot password doesn't work, I write my email in it and press continue, but I never get an email. Why do I know that the email is correct, because when i go to resend activation code, it tells me that this email/acc is already activated. So overall, is the forum actually able to send emails, is it working?
