Hello :-) I've been working on implementing OpenPGP.js in Roundcube for the past couple of days. It's still an unfinished project in development, but since there's such high demand for the result I ought I'd ask you guys for some early feedback. For those of you who don't know: OpenPGP.js is a fork of the previous GPG4Browsers. The intent is to port all OpenPGP functionality into JavaScript so that third party software isn't required for PGP activity. It uses HTML5 web storage and standard PKI keyrings (private keys excluded). So far the plugin, rc_openpgpjs, has a "temporary"(?) user interface for key management and selection. Its consciously using a pretty rough UI at the moment because the new design for Roundcube is just around the corner, but just not finished enough yet to start working on. Also the Enigma plugin interface looked in trouble in Larry. Speaking of Enigma: I'm sure someone will ask why I extend that instead. With all due respect to its authors and fans, Enigma has been stuck in development for 2 years, and PGP support has been planned for Roundcube for 6 years. I'm not sure whether Enigma is really relevant or not. Also I can not support a plugin that implements encryption as a server side solution. The main goal of encryption is to ensure that the data can not be accessed by unauthorized people. I believe that people hosting other people's mail should be treated as unauthorized, and giving private keys away to somebody else really fights against the entire purpose. And then arises the exact same problem that Hushmail users are experiencing: http://www.wired.com/threatlevel/2007/11/encrypted-e-mai/ Even though most Roundcube users probably host their own email I'm quite sure most people don't have problems with a client sided solution instead. That said, I'm not opposed to the Enigma plugin in any way. I was only too lazy to bother learning its structure and layout, which turned out to not be entirely supported by the Larry design. I wouldn't mind a merge later on. Anyhow! Check it out, and tell me what you think. I strongly welcome UI recommendations, patches or any other tip about how I should progress. It's still in early development, but most of the key management features are implemented and so is the decryption of emails. Configurable name_template?

Hi all! I found that $rcmail_config['address_template'] exists, and used when new address added to any contact. The current (hard coded) name template is: 'prefix firstname middlename surname suffix'. Some countries (like Hungary where I live) use different order, like: 'prefix surname firstname middlename suffix'. Does anyone plan to implement name_template variable? Thanks: Sandor Takacs

Larry: toolbar button groups

After last update in Larry we have groups of buttons in toolbar. The idea behind this change was "to place the toolbar buttons above their context area and make a visual separation between their rather different realms". I don't like it. This makes less space for additional buttons (from plugins). Hello list, I'm using roundcube webmail, I authenticate with the SMTP IP mdaemon to another, while the MDaemon mail server, authenticating against Windows Active Directory, but the roundcube fails login and password, if I the user directly on the server mdaemon, loads fine, but users mdaemon takes the domain in the current directory, then it gives the error IMAP Error: Authentication for XXXuser failed (AUTH): "a000 NO Authentication failed Este Correo ha sido enviado desde el servidor de la Empresa Recuperacion de Materias Primas Guantanamo puede visitarnos en: http://paz.mtpgto.co.cu telefono: 32-13-12

Hi, More larry ideas (optimizing the 99% used functions)-- Move the filter select box to the bottom, (infreq used anyway), put the search box in it's place, the search box is odd over the email folders anyway Move the Compose icon to the left on it's own (right of the new search box location) (add green accent-- this & delete (red) the only accents, leave the rest grey ) Lose the "select" selection box at the bottom (this now takes an awkward additional click) & use the original skin icons & single click, that is perfect already. Larry: error popup in login page

In my opinion this popup is very irritating. The message under the login box is noticeable enough and doesn't require any click to go further. Especially the session expired error. I propose to not show error popup on login screen at all. Hi, I think the delete icon should be red/redish or a small red accent. The send message on the compose screen should be moved to the left & made into a bigger square-- you have to dart your eyes across the screen & drag the mouse all the way over there. Thanks!

request: alternate logo setting for larry skin

Hi, $rcmail_config['skin_logo'] = 'config/roundcube_logo.png'; can we have an additional setting for a logo for larry? one is dark on light, vs. light on dark Thanks!

qmail/vmailmgr plugin for Roundcube ?

Hello, I just got an urgent request for a roundcube plugin which would allow vmailmgr-users (qmail-based virtual domain manager) to change their passwords and setup their autoresponder (via the vmailmgrd daemon). Would you have something like that, even if only internally ? It does not have to be free, a small budget would be available afaik. In fact, something very similar to http://www.davidc.net/miscellany/qmailadmin-plugin-roundcube would be perfect, but compatible with the vmailmgr system, not qmailadmin.
