Hi all I've just created a repository for mail messages that should be tested with RoundCube. Test messages can be uploaded either from a file or by copying the complete message source to the text field. http://testing.roundcube.net All testers and developers please drop me a (private) message in order to receive the FTP access information to download the testing messages. You can then import them to your IMAP accounts and test them with your local IMAP/RoundCube installation. Any comments? ~Thomas

Courier IMAP shared folders

Hi everyone, I needed RoundCube to access shared folders on a Courier-IMAP server. I've seen a couple of posts / forum threads related to this, but no real solution. If I change $rcmail_config['imap_root'] to 'shared', I can see them. But I needed to have both namespaces, 'INBOX' and 'shared', displayed in the folder list. Is there a way to do this? Or is it feasible to implement considering the current code structure? I'm willing to hack at it. ^^ Cheers, João Vale

blanc page with big attachments

Hi! I'm using Roundcube since several months. Since the last update I've got a problem with big attachments (about 4 MB). When I try to open a mail with a big attachment I can only see a blanc page. Hi, guys! I need some help. I've installed roundcube on Debian but I can't get it to send emails with big atachments. I've already changed the files .htaccess and php.ini but I still can't do it. Can you help me? thanks

security bugs

I'm loving Roundcube, installation and configuration is a breeze, and the interface is elegant. I just installed it today and plan to get some good use from it . I've also started poking at it to find any security issues I can. What's the preferred method for me to submit security bugs such as XSS? good stuff, Chris

2 issues with Round Cube

Hello, I think I found 2 different issues with Round Cube. I've attached several gif images to this email... hoping it will assist you in locate the issues. You may have already found them. Issue 1: Check mail option (both graphic and text) produce an error message. (see image) Issue 2: Add new folder "Test" - rename folder to "Save" - folder "Save" will not be "subscribed" - when you "subscribe" "Save" folder... "Save" folder will appear on list - cannot remove folder "Test". If you need more explaination - contact me. Pierre

Catalan translation

bug in smtp auth

Hi folks! I just hunted down a pretty simple yet annoying bug concerning smtp auth. I'm using a password with special characters in it which get \-escaped by my php installation. I tracked down the issue to lie in rcube_smpt.inc:L101 which I changed like this: FROM $smtp_pass = str_replace('%p', decrypt_passwd($_SESSION['password']), $CONFIG['smtp_pass']); TO $smtp_pass = str_replace('%p', stripslashes(decrypt_passwd($_SESSION['password'])), $CONFIG['smtp_pass']); I don't know if it might be more useful to move stripslashes into decrypt_passwd - I'll leave that up to you. Furthermore, a "king's solution" might be to query the value of PHP's magic_qpc_quotes variable to strip-slash the decrypted password only when it's been \-escaped - thus making the usage of backslashes in the smtp password possible. Hi! I try to use roundcube, but I found a little bug. If the username contain not only ASCII characters (from or to) it's not work correctily. The Mail mime version is buggy because it's created the From/To address like this: =?UTF-8?Q?.....<xxx(a)yyy.zz>?= Because it's incorrect. The mail end with >, and ?= is a new mail user name. So it's generate incorrect From/To header. I changed the mail mime class to the last released (tested with: v1.3.1 and the CVS version), and it's work correctily.... Cow

hi all, here is Serbian translation. I used existing Serbian as template, and modified it, please tell me if I missed something. Another thing - Serbian has two scripts - Latin and Cyrillic. Since Cyrillic is used everywhere as default (at least in linux translations...long story...), this is _real_ sr language. Existing sr translation you had was Latin one, and by some convention, it's named sr@Latn (at least in gnome/gtk and kde). If it's named only 'sr' that means that's Cyrillic by default. Empty cache-control

All, I've noticed that RoundCube sends an empty "Cache-control: " header in the HTTP response when the "send_future_expire_header()" function is used. I read the HTTP 1.1 specification, and didn't see where an empty value was meaningful in this header. Does anyone know the intent behind this empty header, or what behavior might be expected? fixed message-list header

Hi folks, I've seen that the "folder" header in the folder list is fixed when we scroll down, but this is not the case with the messages list (Object, from, date, size ...). I'd have been glad to submit a patch, but after some tries, I never succeed in doing the way I wanted. I'm not really gifted when it comes about CSS, and I did not dare to modify the xhtml output, so that's just a suggestion. First, is anyone interested in this ? does anyone have an idea about how to do this ? :-) regards, -- Pierre
