Pbs with the french version

I'll try to speak english, but.... I have a problem with french version : when i have some accent in my message, it will not appear. exemple : Concernant la r?n?tion, l'agence est commissionn?áuteur de 0.5 % ±%. Comme convenu lors de la r?ion, 40 % TTC seront revers?directement ìa personne qui a prescrit. in stade of Concernant la rémunération, l'agence est commissionnée à auteur de 0.5 % à 1%. Hi list, I am currently using the CVS from the first week of January. In my config file I use the following pieces of code to generate a login based upon what domain a user is accessing round cube from. // the mail host chosen to perform the log-in // leave blank to show a textbox at login, give a list of hosts // to display a pulldown menu or set one host as string. // To use SSL connection, enter ssl://hostname:993 $rcmail_config['default_host'] = 'mail.' . I am in the midst of updating to the newest CVS. I am just affraid that that is not going to be the problem. Sorry about that. I just retried it and got the same problems. Try this one. I created the one I sent earlier with cvs diff. This one was created with Tortoise with whatever default options it throws into the bag. This one works fine with the latest CVS (1.27 of app.js, I believe.) stability of CVS

Hi. This looks like an excellent piece of software. I have shown it to a couple people who care about design sorts of things, and they were quite impressed. I see the don't-use-the-cvs-version-unless-you-want-to-have-broken-email warning on the sourceforge page, and I am wondering how much you mean it. (: I am willing to put up with some instability, but I want it to work most of the time. Should I stick with the official releases? I am familiar with cvs (and svn - glad to hear that you are converting over sometime soon) and comfortable working on code. Do you have a suggestion? -- Jon Daley http://jon.limedaley.com/

5 features worth implementing?

After loosing an important mail composed under Roundcube (just pushed the send-button, 'something' went wrong and the email was lost forever) I have thought of ideas to avoid this. I think the following might be feasible: currently mails are send in the background; a failure means the message disappears. Might it be an idea not to use an AJAX backgrounded thread for sending the email, but staying on the foreground; only to return to the inbox once the message has succesfully been send? Some other stuff I thought of: * move the current overflow-scrollbar style from the table to the tbody. This would leave the thead always visible, while currently it will disappear when scrolling * make the attachment-icon (singleclick) in the messagelisting jump directly to the message-attachment. Currently it is just an icon without any link * a javascript prompt before any actual delete action, for example in the addressbook page * could we merge the _auth (GET) and sessid (COOKIE) into 1 sessionID? shift-select and control-select patch

I tried sending this message with RoundCube, but I don't think the attachment was working. Anyway, this patch changes the control-select and shift-select behavior for lists to emulate that of standard windows applications (or at least Outlook and Thunderbird which is what I tested it against). Please give it a try and let me know how it turns out. Also let me know if any further steps need to be taken to have this patch considered for merge into the main code. -Charles

Localization text for folders click

Still some bad special characters display while clicking on folders to display their content. Affecting the text on the upper right "Message from 1 to 3" for example or "Box empty". Bad display for french language during the test for those texts. Someone to help ?

Sendmail Error

Hi All I've installed RoundCube on my ISP's webspace because their current webmail system is a very old Horde IMP implimentation which is plain butt ugly and difficult to use. RoundCube is absoluty great and works very well so I access my account the the login. However, when I send an email, it works but I get this error message: Warning: fopen(./logs/sendmail): failed to open stream: Keine Berechtigung in /web/sites/9/sebgate/www.sebgate.f2s.com/roundcube/program/steps/mail/sendmail.inc on line 252 Does this matter? Hi, We are currently changing the charset settings to UTF-8 in general. This is already done in the development version which is available through direct CVS checkout. A new official release will follow soon. If you don't want to fetch the latest CVS version (this also brings some major changes in the database structure) you have to wait for the new release. This should then convert all chars to UTF-8 and solve the encoding problems that version 0.1-20051021 still has. Regards, Thomas Aux wrote: > Hello! Hi everybody These issues are known and there have been some major changes in the localization functions of RoundCube. In the latest CVS version, the default language is taken from the config file and then saved in the user session. If a user changes his/her preferred language, this will be applied right after the login. These changes (together with the Bosnian translation) will be released soon. Hi I have a Qmail Server/Courrier setup running on CentOS 4.x . I have installed the CVS version (fetched two days ago) of RoundCube on the server for webmail access. Roadmap and a few key features.

I'm testing out roundcube for a small deployment on a server, as a replacement to squirrelmail, and the one comment i keep getting from my users is: "How do i mark multiple mails as read at once". And to be honest, i don't know the answer. Are there plans to add a Mark as Read flag that can be applied to multi-selections, like one can do with delete? Otherwise, great work!

Latest snapshot, encodings troubles with french locale

I finally managed to get the latest CVS snapshot and install it replacing the 16/12/05 version. It seems it has troubles with texts and especially with French localization. Special characters are replaced by ? and some texts like "loading " seems not to be retrieved well. [loading] and others texts into []. Is there a fix or should I change something to get the latest CVS snapshot working good in French localization ? Thanx a lot.

Just some isues stil present in the current CVS version ( tested with french): - When composing new message charset is set to utf-8 by default instead of correct encoding corresponding to the locale (ISO-8859-1) - Some text on the top right (box empty, messages from 1 to 1, ...) still have bad special characters display. Hi May you add "AddDefaultCharset utf-8" in the .htaccess file for better utf-8 support ?

First thing, congratulations for this webmail which is actually clearly the best I have ever used. Would it possible to have more often CVS snapshots available to download ? How could I create myself a CVS snapshot from the SF CVS tree ? Thanx for all. P.

Auto Inbox Refresh (Email Checking)

Hi, Very new to this program (literally 18hrs) and already i love it! I thought i'd attempt to add some hacked code to auto refresh the inbox... ------------------------------------------ [app.js] (before the '// set onload handler' add) function refreshMailbox() { setTimeout("refreshMailbox()", 60000); return rcmail.command('list','INBOX'); return rcmail.mbox_mouse_up('INBOX'); } (Then edit the function below) window.onload = function(e) { if (window.rcube_webmail_client) rcube_webmail_client.init(); // This calls the refreshMailbox() function. refreshMailbox(); }; ------------------------------------------- This will sucessfully update the inbox and the folder list without reloading the page! ** UNFORTUNATLY ** When you go to read an email it starts refreshing loads of times... Does anyone know how i can get the property of 'rcmail.gui_object('message', 'message');' into my mailboxRefresh() function to create and IF statement? Cheers! Jamie.
