I'm trying to upgrade our 0.3.1 installation to 0.4.2. IMAP

After looking through the IMAP code, I am wondering why RoundCube uses it's own homegrown IMAP code rather than the IMAP extension that is built into PHP 5. The current IMAP extension fully supports all the forms of authentication supported by the current code, as well as additional ones such as GSSAPI[for example,the pubkey/kerebos token question earlier]. As such, if RoundCube has moved to PHP5 only, it would make sense to move the the IMAP extension. Hi! I'm completing the Italian translation with the new strings, but I have a couple of questions: What's the behavior of the parenthesis for plural nouns? For example, in English there is this string: "Message(s) deleted successfully". In Italian, the translation of the singular form is "Messaggio eliminato con successo", while the plural form would be "Messaggi eliminati con successo", so how should I write the translation? Unfortunately in Italian the verb changes too.... And...what are exactly "Mail-Reply-To" and "Mail-Followup-To"? Thank you for developing such an excellent piece of software! help with roundcube pubcookie plugin

I'm attempting to write a plugin to allow pubcookie sessions to authenticate directly into roundcube without requiring any additional login from the user. First of all, has anyone done this already? It's not one of the standard plugins... Assuming that pubcookie hasn't already been done, I've been looking at the roundcube architecture for how to integrate it. Unfortunately, if you use pubcookie, you get a userID and a kerberos credential (instead of a userID/password combo), so it looks like none of the standard roundcube hooks will do the right thing. I already have code that will build a pre-authenticated connection to my IMAP server, but I don't really see how to hand this back to roundcube while bypassing the normal login/imap connection building that is going on. Can anyone provide some ideas on the best way to do this? I'd be happy to contribute the eventual plugin back to the pool. LDAP Addressbook implementation

hello Roundcube Devs WOW, Rouncube is realy cool! Yes, its just what I need for my home server. What I miss is a more felxible LDAP Addressbook. I allready started to hack RC for my needs, but I am not sure if my changes are wellcome since I have seen that it is planed to rewrite the addressbook in further releases... isnt it? And my changes are still verry personal and not that good configurable like it sould be at a commit. And another problem is, that I have setup my LDAP server my own, thus I am not sure about "standars" on that side. Features I implemented allredy: - more fields like address, phone nubers, notes, and the flexibility to add more in the config file. - the "name" field is redundant, it is just "surname lastname", thus it must not be shown and editable. - it must be able to let the "email" field empty, because a lot of my addresses just have an address or phone number (used on the cell phone) -> the only field that is necessarry for the LDAP DN is the surname. - adding new fields out of the E-Mail tool improved: email address is now read as: "firstname surname email@bla" or "surname, firstname email@bla" or "surname email@bla" or "firstname.surname(a)email.bla" or "surname(a)email.bla" even mor sensefull syntaxes can be added. - if the "name" allready exists, the entry can not be added, but the email can be added if empty (for my cellphone adresses i like to compleet with email in RC) Features I have planed to implement soon: - group management: read groups out of the LDAP, create and remove groups. (I still looking for a "standard- like" LDAP implementation of address groups, I tried allready to use the "o:" attribute, but I think it is better to use seperate LDAP subdirectories for each group) The question is now: is it welcome if I prepare this to commit once? or is it even allready done in the latest SVN? Please forgive me this off-topic message, but you may like it: I found a raytracer written in pure javascript. The performance is as bad as expected, but I'm nevertheless impressed. New version 0.5-beta released

Hello Roundcube users We're happy to announce that a new major release of Roundcube is now available for testing. As usual it contains many bugfixes (thanks to all the reporters and contributers) and brings more stability and speedup as well as some new features such as Internationalized Domain Name (IDNA) support, support for shared/global IMAP folders and support for SMTP Delivery Status Notifications. Plus some minor changes to the message list UI and many improvements under the hood. Download the 0.5-beta release now from http://roundcube.net/download and test it in your local environments. Any bug reports and suggestions for improvements are welcome. Along with the new features again new texts are waiting to be translated. All non-english natives are kindly requested to help us translate Roundcube. Go to http://translator.roundcube.net, select your language and fill in the missing labels and messages. Completed files can be posted to our dev mailing list. As you can see on the translator page, there are several translations with less than 50% completeness status. Roundcube with multiple domains dynamic configuration

Hi everyone, We're trying to install RoundCube-0.4.2 and make it work with our couple IMAP servers. These servers are very different - different ports, different namespace (user's homedir) and etc.. So after reading the manual http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Howto_Config we've been trying to set up dynamic configuration for each of our mailservers. However, unsuccessfully. Maybe anyone could help with this, or at least anyone could report that this feature is really working? In my main.inc.php: <..> $rcmail_config['default_host'] = array('mydomain1.com', 'mydomain2.com'); <..> // try to load host-specific configuration // see http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Howto_Config for more details $rcmail_config['include_host_config'] = array( 'mydomain1.com' => 'domain1.inc.php', 'mydomain2.com' => 'domain2.inc.php', ); <..> Simply these few lines above does nothing. I can write both in domain1.inc.php and domain2.inc.php such content as : <?php die(); ?> , but roundcube doesn't die - so these files aren't included and aren't merged with main array. If I add arrays with different ports, namespaces etc, it still binds to that one (e.g. port) described in main.inc.php. I've been tried this feature about half year ago, but it still remains unfixed. List of mails in Inbox not show after 1minute

Hello, I'm currently using Roundcube SVN for one of my domains. Since a few weeks, I have this annoying issue that the list of mails in my Inbox disappears after one minute. I assume this has something to do with the refresh. When selecting any other folder this doesn't happen and list will always be shown properly. I am using imapproxyd, but even when disabling this and connecting directly to imapd, this happens. Also setting imap_force_caps to false hasn't solved the issue. I've searched both the mailing list and Trac tickets, but couldn't find anything regarding this. I vaguely remember issues with empty lists in Inbox, but thought this were fixed. Has anyone seen this issue as well? Or does anyone know how to resolve this? Any help appreciated!
