Example code for list_prefs_sections hook?

I'm trying to wrap my head around how the hook for list_prefs_sections works. I don't think my brain is up to the task today, so I was wondering if anyone has a small example to show? I'm assuming: ... $this->add_hook('list_prefs_sections', array($this, 'opt_block')); ... function opt_block($args) { $args['cols'] = 'optlabel'; $args['list']['optlabel'] = array( 'id' => 'optlabel', 'section' => 'Option Label'); return $args; } Digging through the program/steps/settings/func.inc I can see that list is a copy of $SECTIONS and I have no idea what cols is used for. Error in SMTP over SSL

issues with plugin vcard_attachments

About Roundcube and LDAP

Hi guys, I've trying to implemnt roundcube in the company I work for, but I've found some problem (alread posted on users mailing list). I've read in these forums several times that most roundcube developers are not using LDAP, so they can't test many LDAP features. As I'm mainly a systems administrator and not a developer, the language I have most experience is python and not php, and my time is not enough to do these sort of developments I'd like to collaborate in another way in these features related to LDAP. So, may it help if , for example, I setup for you a Virtual Machine with a full working and ready to use OpenLDAP server, with phpldapadmin and some lorem ipsum data on it? Hello everybody, I'm trying to develop a plugin for roundcube, that integrates a weekly calendar [1]. The plugin need an external calendar server by the caldav protocol (davical,darwin calendar server, etc.) Actually, I successfully detect invitation messages using the message load hook, however, I'm stuck with what I need to do next: * Completely modify message presentation, to display the message as an invitation, and include a text area and some buttons: accept, decline, etc. * Accept invitation, by executing some server side code. I cannot do it using Javascript/Ajax, because the calendar server is on another server. Can anyone help me to start and tell me which hooks I have to use, and how to use them for these tasks ? Hello all, I have published a small and unobtrusive patch on the wiki, to allow people who uses LDAP address book to add more fields from inetorg person schema. The default fields are not changed: name,firstname,surname,email. However, it's possible to use extra fields by using this configuration into the config file: {{{ $rcmail_config['addressbook_fields'] = array('name', 'firstname', 'surname', 'email' , 'telephoneNumber', 'mobile', 'o'); }}} Basically, the patch modify three files save.inc, show.inc and edit.inc in the folder roundcubemail/program/steps/addressbook/, and the modification looks like that: - $a_show_cols = array('name', 'firstname', 'surname', 'email'); + $abook_def_fields = array('name', 'firstname', 'surname', 'email'); + $a_show_cols = $RCMAIL->config->get('addressbook_fields', $abook_def_fields) ; The patch also contains three labels for telephoneNumber, mobile and o: +$labels['o'] = 'Company'; +$labels['telephoneNumber'] = 'Telephone number'; +$labels['mobile'] = 'Mobile'; Of course, a more complete labels should use at least inetorgperson's schema: - commonName - givenName - surname - mail - organizationName or 'o' - postOfficeBox - postalAddress - localityName or 'l' - st - postalCode - telephoneNumber - facsimileTelephoneNumber - mobile - homePhone I'll create a more complete patch for the version 0.4, but I think this small patch will be very useful to lot of roundcube users, particularly in enterprises. Hello RoundCube users and list lurkers After getting plenty of feedback for the plugin API [1] which was published in version 0.3-beta we now released an almost-ready-to-hit-the-road version of RoundCube. The reason why this not yet a stable release are some pervasive changes on the IMAP backend in order to improve performance. corrupted filter in multiple LDAP searches

I am following up on a submitted bug and was hoping someone else could confirm the behaviour I'm seeing. I have added the following to program/steps/addressbook/search.inc to demonstrate the problem (note that first line below should be the existing line 34). $_SESSION['search'][$search_request] = $CONTACTS->get_search_set(); $kfh = fopen("logs/filter", "a"); fwrite($kfh, "Filter at search.inc (in SESSION)\n "); fwrite($kfh, $_SESSION['search'][$search_request]); fwrite($kfh, "\n"); fwrite($kfh, "Filter at search.inc (in CONTACTS)\n "); fwrite($kfh, $CONTACTS->get_search_set()); fwrite($kfh, "\n"); fclose($kfh); What I am seeing after the first search is that $_SESSION['search'][$search_request] does indeed equal $CONTACTS->get_search_set() (which is a full valid filter). However, for every subsequent search, $_SESSION['search'][$search_request] ends up being "(", even though $CONTACTS->get_search_set() does contain the full valid filter. Basically, it seems that the assignment on line 34 works fine for the first search, but fails after that. It can be reset by logging out and in again. Revised hungarian translation files

Dear devs, After tweaking the hungarian translation files for hours, I decided to give it back to you all. First I corrected the files included in RC 0.2.2, after I merged it with the one from Barnabas BONA <bsi(a)hosember.hu> ( http://lists.roundcube.net/mail-archive/dev/2009-07/0000067.html ), then I formatted it according to the most recent en_US files from svn. All hungarian files needed some care and global reformatting, but I think my work paid off, we will use this version in our production environment! Please commit it to svn. Thank you! Different Timezone offsets in my RoundCube log

Hi, how can it happen that I have different timezone offsets in my logs? The write_log function in main.inc should default to php time(). But why can this result in different timezone offsets? Some insight please ... Currently it is hard to track back issues back to apache access logfile. Log to Database Plugin

In addition I disabled apache logging for roundcube vhost (rcube access is logged too: see callback hook startup). Missing: #1- Database update scripts for others than MySQL #2- Export log table by FTP to support Round Robin installations. #3- May be it's better to export as sql script ? Hi Thomas, please revert this! I need it to run hook render_page more than once. It is better that the programmer takes care not to run into endless loops by "die" or "exit". 2 of my plugins stopped working (captcha, terms) and I don't have an idea how to do it in another style. Reason: to change the action only works in authenticated state. These plugins hooks in non authenticated state by render_page.
