Multiple SMTP Servers

Devs: Here's a patch I did last night to allow for multiple SMTP servers to be used with multiple IMAP servers. If you don't specify one, then the default mail function in php is used. Spell checking issue when switching between Plain text and HTML editing

The "Check spelling" GoogieSpell works fine with Plain text editing, but when switching to HTML editing should the "Check spelling" not be removed, so that it is the "spell checking" in TinyMCE the user will use? If I use the "Check spelling" GoogieSpell in HTML editing it corrupts the TinyMCE and creates two iframes, but switching back to Plain text and then back to HTML editing the error is temporarily solved (until the use of "Check spelling" GoogieSpell) I have searched for a Ticked but not found a exact one. pretending to be faster?

I switched from squirrelmail a couple of months ago and so far I'm happy. I was really hoping roundcube would be faster, but it's really not. My IMAP server is local, and I'm running Apache2 with the php module. Bringing up 50 (or 100) messages in the same folder is nearly identical speed for squirrelmail and roundcube. This leads me to believe the time is spend in either the php compilation or the local IMAP work. So, I'm wondering if we could just make roundcube appear faster. I'm a C coder, not a PHP or web guy, so this may all be bogus, but here goes: - User views a folder. - Roundcube gets the count pretty quickly and renders a stand in page with "<retrieving headers>" for each message line, giving me a pretty quick page load. - The IMAP work continues in the background and as each message header is retrieved the from, subject, recvd date, is filled in line by line. If this is possible, it leverages the user's time spent looking at a message to download other message headers.

It says this: RoundCube Webmail is written in PHP and requires the MySQL database. However other database servers can be used. I just installed mysql for no reason on a server when I could of used the existing PostgreSQL ! :( Chris

Request For This Mailing List In Particular (And, Not The RoundCube Application Itself)

I get tons of e-mails daily, across multiple addresses I frequently monitor throughout any given day. I currently have my e-mail client program set-up to only have a "list" view of the subject line of all incoming mail, grouping all e-mail addresses (i.e., utilizing Apple's Mail software). And, I'm assuming that many of the subscribers on this mailing list also do the same thing. Since I am often bombarded with unwanted spam, the majority of the time, I only quickly read the "subject line" of an e-mail, and delete questionable incoming mail, without wasting time to actual read every single e-mail to determine if it is desired content to read, or not. So, as a request for this e-mail list, can the list admin re- configure the list settings, so that all messages sent automatically prepend in the subject line the tag: [RoundCube Dev]. That way, incoming mail can be easily identified as not spam, and should be read accordingly. If the list settings do not feature an auto-prepend for the subject line, then this request is widely directed to all subscribers of this list, asking that when composing new e-mails, please be more conscious about the content of the subject line, and to write text that at least can give some indication that the e-mail pertains to RoundCube. Example: A bad subject line would just have: Subject: RC1 Whereas, a better subject line would have: Subject: RoundCube RC1 Oftentimes, messages are being sent through this list, where the subject line does not clearly give indication that it is referring to RoundCube. And, i wouldn't want to accidently delete a potentially vital incoming e-mail from this list, thinking it was spam.
