Hi mr. Braindead can you give us an output from you smtp server log. That would maybe help to solve the problem... also remember that $rcmail_config['smtp_user'] = '%u'; and $rcmail_config['smtp_pass'] = '%p'; will send the user and password you use to login with(the same as the POP3/IMAP) anyways, that would normally not be a problem when communicating with localhost. but as i say, check the smtp server logs! Error sending email

Hello all, I'm new on this mailing list so hi everybody. I just installed Roundemail on my server (OVH). All is OK except to send email. Here is my main.inc.php file : // use this host for sending mails. // to use SSL connection, set ssl://smtp.host.com // if left blank, the PHP mail() function is used $rcmail_config['smtp_server'] = 'localhost'; // SMTP port (default is 25; 465 for SSL) $rcmail_config['smtp_port'] = 25; // SMTP username (if required) if you use %u as the username RoundCube // will use the current username for login $rcmail_config['smtp_user'] = '%u'; // SMTP password (if required) if you use %p as the password RoundCube // will use the current user's password for login $rcmail_config['smtp_pass'] = '%p'; // SMTP AUTH type (DIGEST-MD5, CRAM-MD5, LOGIN, PLAIN or empty to use // best server supported one) $rcmail_config['smtp_auth_type'] = ''; But it doesn't works.... A possible cause for my session timeouts

I can tell this is a troublesome bug to resolve, especially when it does not happen to you. But I have an idea on why it has happened on my system. First, I am running on a WiFi network and occasionally the WiFi connection display pops up and sayd the connection was connected, as though it had been disconnected momentarily. Session timeout, has to be top priority!!!

That is killing me! In Firefox I have lost multiple emails as I was writing them and then cannot go back and copy out my text. I just added this ticket. Am I the only one with this problem or do I have "expired buddies". :-) I can't find error messages anywhere, so I'm kind of lost. :-( Any ideas on how to debug this? Thomas, Thank you for getting this into the Trunk. I will start testing as soon as possible. On the subject of UTF collation, I will need to look further into this. SQL Server does not support UTF but uses the UCS-2 standard for Unicode data instead. The first change would be to change the data types of all the char, varchar and text columns to nchar, nvarchar and ntext to allow Unicode - that's the easy part and we could then leave the collation as it is. I would then have to look at converting the UTF data to UCS-2 with a new function. I'll let you know how when I have more details. Hi, It must be tuesday. I'm productive today. Attached is my attempt at implementing a preview pane in the message list On single-clicking a message it halfs the list, and uses the remaining space for an <iframe> containing the message. 1. Is anybody interested in my efforts? 2. Any HTML object has an empty style in JS. How did that happen? For example, rcube_find_object('mailcontframe').style.length returns zero. 3. The iframe needs to be resized on browser resize. 4. href's within the iframe need to be sent to the parent. 5. I wanted to use this.set_busy(true) but could not yet find a proper place to this.set_busy(false). Robin
