DB Error

Getting the following error with the same accounts described in my other email with subject "fopen error" (account with many emails in the in box): DB Error in /Library/Apache2/htdocs/roundcubemail/program/include/ rcube_db.inc (148): DB Error: unknown error; QUERY: INSERT INTO cache (created, user_id, session_id, cache_key, data) VALUES (now(), ?, ?, ?, ?) bug when sending mail using groups

"A message that you sent contained one or more recipient addresses that were incorrectly constructed: Corp <livers(a)jtpre.com, tmcmanus(a)jtpre.com, jreidy(a)jtpre.com>: malformed address: , tmcmanus(a)jtpre.com, jreidy@jtp may not follow Corp <livers@jtprecom This address has been ignored. There were no other addresses in your message, and so no attempt at delivery was possible." This error is popping up when our people are trying to use groups. When we remove Corp< and > it goes through fine. Doesn't look like roundcube is parsing out the extra code when generating the emails. Is this is a known error that is fixed in the latest CVS? Admittedly, I have not updated the installation in about a month. Thanks, --Charles

why is server now required on user login screen?

This makes no sense. The server that is being connected to is configured in the database config file. I just reinstalled roundcube to correct a problem our users have been having, and now there is an input requiring them to enter a server address. This is nuts. Can there be a little more agreement among the maintainers and the people who actually use this software before you approve willy-nilly changes to the code??

Inbox refresh?

Hi First of all, thanx for a superb webmail! Finally the webmail has evolved! I have two questions though: 1. Is there a way to set a automatic refresh when viewing the Inbox? 2. Is the folderlist cached somewhere? I have deleted some mailfiles directly in a users homedirectory on the server, but they still appears in the users folderlist when the users is logged into Roundcube. Best Regards Jimmy

delete/move function not working?

Hi, First off, awesome project. Keep up the good work. I'm running the latest snapshot (updated right before I sent this) from a freebsd box running exim/dovecot and I'm not able to delete or move messages from my Inbox. I'll get the popup message 'Could not move message'. I've done a bit of detective work and found that the problem is probably occuring in program/steps/mail/move_del.inc and is getting caught in the first 'move message' conditional. I'm not sure why/how (as I'm not all that keen on ajax), but it seems that '$_action' isn't being set correctly when the delete button is pressed. Any suggestions? - Ryan

Postgres support (Patch)

As I only run a Postgres server at home, I have been trying to get roundcube running on postgres. However, I am not a coder, so what would take most of you guys no time at all took me all day! But I think I'm getting somewhere. I've attached a patch which passes an extra argument into rcube_write_cache when it's been called from rcube_imap. All it does it makes sure the sess_id variable is set when it's trying to write the the cache, otherwise a foreign key constraint is violated. I guess we could have just got rid of the constraint, but it makes sense to leave them in to me. This is more just getting rid of error messages, but there was a lot of them, which is annoying. The patch is in CVS diff format, hope that's ok. Also, in the postgres SQL schema file, a column is missing in the contacts table. However when I generated a diff against it with my change, it erased the whole file and then wrote it all again (making for a large patch, well, compared to the one line change). I suspect it has something to do with line endings. The column definition is: changed timestamptz NOT NULL DEFAULT now(), Insert that at line 208. Getting the address book and settings working is next, but that will probably take me another 2 days to figure out! Any progress on a wiki? It'd make it much easier to ask questions. Also, has anyone considered adding documentation tags to the code? Something like PHPDoc, to make generating a class/method/variable list easier. - Jarl Nicolson

Large folders not displaying messages

Hello, I've recently setup Roundcube, and it feels great, fine work! I'm using BincIMAP and/or Dovecot (both which show the same problem). The problem being when I try to enter a folder in Roundcube with 2k+ messages it doesn't not show messages in the given folder. Sometimes leaving and reentering that folder will display a list of emails, but most of the time not. Running an strace on binc I see it reading the requested directory for files and parsing those files for details. Before it completes Roundcube returns with an empty "mailbox", and the "Loading" message disappears from the top of the browser. I noticed some AlohaMail IMAP code being used, and don't remember having this problem with that MUA, but that was quite a while ago, with a far different setup. Server: Roundcube (20051021), Linux 2.6, MySQL 5.0.15, BincIMAP 1.2.13final (Maildir++) on JFS (without Auth or SSL), Apache 2.0.55 w/PHP 5.0.4 Client: Windows XP, Firefox 1.5rc3 (though the problem is seen on Firefox 1.0.x, and IE 6) Any help would be appreciated, and let me know if you'd like any further details.
