since it's been opened 2 month ago - can you test again against rc0.1 ?
Sorry, do you mean rc1.1
http://downloads.sourceforge.net/roundcubemail/roundcubemail-0.1-rc1.1.tar.g...
or something else?
0.1-rc1.1 ;-)
Yes, that's what I mean - please give it a try. Also if you can, test against trunk.
You want, you could also test against branches/devel-vnext.
For sure I'll look into the quoting issues etc. which are outlined on the ticket - in regard to using what is advertised on login. That is a great idea of course, but I am not sure if sorting is actually part of the standard, I tried to find appropriate RFCs but were not too successful. If it is not part of it I personally wouldn't want to support something like that.
On a sidenote - I've heard many complaints about Dovecot and large mailboxes. Which is why I personally use Courier.
I'm using Cyrus (which I hate). However, reconfiguring the whole mail system is unacceptable to me, and my mail clients other than roundcube have no problems with those huge mailboxes, so it really can't be the server's fault.
I understand your frustration.
Cheers, Till
