yeah. i know how you feel. i trap all my customers in alpha software, and ignore readme files and configuration files. and by god when i dont get my way,
i complain ! i tell people how there wrong ! and i tell people how they need to work together! and i show people how ignorent i am.
in the words of van wilder: complaining is like a rocking chair. it gives you something to do but it doesnt get you anywhere.
instead why not try to help people/(THE COMMUNITY) out, and throw some of us a bone, and tell us what you dont like, and why you dont like it. or AT LEAST read the readme file, or the configuration files. servers arent point and click, read your mind, and your done.
and to everyone else, sorry for that outburst.

This makes no sense.
The server that is being connected to is configured in the database config file.
I just reinstalled roundcube to correct a problem our users have been having, and now there is an input requiring them to enter a server address. This is nuts.
Can there be a little more agreement among the maintainers and the people who actually use this software before you approve willy-nilly changes to the code??
Why so many "strong" words ?
Try to look into config files first... If you can't handle it, just ask, in a proper way.
Solution below: set in file main.inc.php -> default_host
