Funny, now that the new Beta is out I was thinking about this this morning and what fields I would recommend to include. I've always wasnted at least a phone number field, but the others would make it more complete. In the Address Book this wouldn't have to look any different on the left side, but when you chose an address it would populate the right side with all of their info. I think this is a good next step for the Address Book.

I think it would work to have free text fields handling up to the standard 255 characters, and have a table of custom fields and allow the users to determine what details they want to be added for each contact. Maybe a template that could be designed... hmm... that's a bit overkill for now. So 2 phone numbers, 2 email addys, a street address, and a notes field would be awesome!
Next topic... formatting / auto formatting On the add contact screen, the add should be before the cancel / clear button whatever it was. I've only been using roundcube for about an hour or so and I LOVE IT!!! This is EXACTLY what I was looking for... and have been searching for a month or so for.
The first and last name fields should be moved to above the display name, and have the display name auto fill with the first and last name of the contact. Maybe in the future have this as an option for the users to determine what format they want the display name to be in.
