I've tested this both through Exchange and Qmail the server seems irrelevant. When I view the mail in squirrelmail or thunderbird it appears fine.
Thanks for a wonderful alternative to squirrelmail. I know it's still yound buggy and lacking features but it appears to be heading in the right direction and I already am waiting to put it in production.
I've seen the same issues as well; I am running GMail.
