PHP 4.4.0 on that machine, 4.4.8 on the outside. Please don't ask me why the internal dev machine is using a PHP that old ;)
I wasn't familiar with that syntax, the only other time I saw it was referencing PEAR, so I ( wrongly ) assumed it was PEAR related, not PHP5 related.
The requirements says PHP 4.3.1 or newer, I can test on 4.3.1 if no one else is. Sounds like 4.4.0 is the oldest that has been tried.
This is fixed in 0.1-stable (WOO, this reads great!). :D
