Thanks for your offer, it may be a great idea.
In my cmpany, we use roundcube as well as LDAP in our professional environment, and It's true that the support can be improved.
The support of LDAP in roundcube is working for us, event if I had to modify some things to be able to edit and show phone numbers.
Even if I don't have too much time, I'll be ready to help to improve LDAP support in roundcube.
