IMAP-UW - Problems with plaintext login

Are there any know issues with imap-uw?

When I attempt to log in I see in my maillog:

Oct 14 12:25:59 firewall imapd[60509]: Login user=mikej

host=firewall.mikej.com [10.0.0.3] Oct 14 12:25:59 firewall imapd[60509]: Logout user=mikej host=firewall.mikej.com [10.0.0.3]

Which tells me that authentication successed... but RoundCube displays "login denied".

I tried increasing loging to 8 and see:

UNSELECT SCAN SORT THREAD=REFERENCES THREAD=ORDEREDSUBJECT MULTIAPPEND SASL-IR LOGIN-REFERRALS STARTTLS AUTH=LOGIN cp01 OK CAPABILITY completed Tried PLAIN: Resource id #23
