Hi,
I know that daylight saving is still missing and it has been reported several times. I also like the idea about automatically change the TZ regarding the clients settings. An option to enable that would be appropriate.

Thinking about it a bit, the punbb approach makes sense not only for DST change, but for users who travel and access webmail from different timezones. If the TZ is checked/updated from the local machine at login they always see local time on messages.... Maybe an option "Update timezone at login" (?)

The issue then of course is that a user may be in a different timezone than the server -- a timezone that does not use DST. Or vice versa :)
Perhaps RoundCube could implement something to get the TZ from the local user's computer and adjust the db profile accordingly. This is worth a quick read for the JS: http://forums.punbb.org/viewtopic.php?id=9711

Why not select the servers TZ. The server already supports daylight
