Same thing for me, here.
I'm using Courier 4. I can attempt to delete the message in Roundcube, it disappears, but the unread count does not change. If I hope then trash in Squirrelmail, all messages are there and I can purge them. A real pain.
Anyone up for writing an "Empty Trash" patch? :-)

When I deleted the unread messages under Trash, the folder still showing "Trash (n)" (where n is the unread messages number) although it is empty.
I checked it under Horde and I could see, under Trash, deleted messages are strike out. In Horde, I can then purged such messages using the link "purge deleted". But in RoundCube, I can't.
How do I configure my server (I am using cPanel + RedHat Linux 9) so that deleted messages are really removed (and no purging needed)?
