Done. I'd suggest that this parameter should remain undocumented (for devs only).
It's a huge convenience thing for some, but I agree. Creates more issues if we advertise it.
Also, speaking of the installer - we need to tell people to beware of trailing line breaks in config files. Many have those issues. On PHP5 however, I'd propose that we leave the ?> since that is allowed. Kinda gets rid off those things in a more elegant way.
