I'm currently on PHP v4.4.4 (since that's the version that is built
into Mac OS X). I have nothing against moving to PHP 5, but there has
been no compelling reason to move beyond the built-in version (for
reasons elucidated well by others on this list).
I don't know much about MDB2 vs. PDO, but I have heard good things
about PDO, and it seems like an intuitive architecture.

Hi,
we were just pondering how many of you still rely on PHP4 support since we'd make life easier and drop it on devel-vnext completely. Same goes for our DB logic, MDB2 is very mature currently - should we rely on it exclusively?
Thoughts? Comments? Feedback?
