And you're using the SMTP sending now? I ask because the ONLY thing I've ever seen generate a 406 error is Apache's mod_security when it tries to block something.

The source of the email in question is: I have edited the specific email addresses and IP/server addresses to hide them. Everything else is exactly as is.
