Hello,
Some of messages which go to spam folder contain illigal or non-ascii
characters. The problem is that when this happens, I cannot display emails
in such a folder. Only when I copy there a normal message, then delete it,
the folder content is shown along with warning like this:
Warning: mb_convert_encoding() [function.mb-convert-encoding]: Illegal
character encoding specified in
/usr/local/www/roundcube/program/include/main.inc on line 924
Warning: mb_convert_encoding() [function.mb-convert-encoding]: Illegal

What can I do about it? Thank you!

Hi all,
I'm writing again because I would like to use roundcube as soon as
possible. Probably I have stupid problem. I need only a simple advice.
Thank you all.
I have a (probably) stupid login problem. I have an IMAP account, and I
use thunderbird as email client.
I'm not able to make login with roundcube because I have strange
username syntax. Something like:
"Bill Clinton/EASY"
This syntax is that one I use without any problem with thunderbird. The
problem seems the white space. If I make the login I have in the log:
"a001 BAD LOGIN Unexpected Extra arguments"
If I remove the with space I have:
"a001 NO LOGIN invalid user name or password"
This error is right because my username is "Bill Clinton/EASY" and not
"BillClinton/EASY".
Is there a way to pass a username with a white space?
Thank you,
Andrea

I am experiencing a strange error.
I've been using RoundCube for 3 days now and it was working fine on IE and
Firefox.
Suddenly the firefox login fails with "Login failed".
Has anybody ever experienced that?
I don't really know where to start looking at.
Thanks for any help.

Hi,
just for fun I tried to logon as root (which should IMHO of course not be
possible). The webserver (FreeBSD, apache2.0.59, PHP5.2.3,
roundcube0.1.20070608) goes up to 100% for 2 minutes like a DoS.

What's wrong here?
Thanks, Helmut

I've noticed that when you open up an attached PDF file in Internet
Explorer, I first get the security warning message (which is fine for me)
and then I'm given the option to open the file up. But when it opens the
PDF file up it does so in a little tiny box.

Hi people,
Recently transferred a user's mail across from Squirrelmail; all seems
OK, until one uses Roundcube and comes across a rather odd situation.
The first page of the Inbox is completely blank!
The inbox claims "No messages found in this mailbox" and the screen is
blank.
The folder list claims 13 new messages.
The message list claims "Messages 1 to 40 of 86"
Browser is Firefox 2.0.0.4, Ubuntu Feisty
Any advice greatly appreciated.
All the best,

hi,everyone!
I'm new to roundcube, I tested RCMAIL 0.1rc and svn612 version on
winxp+apache2.2.4+php5+mysql5 and redhatAS4+apache2+php4.3.9+mysql5, and MTA
postfix + hmailserver, browser firefox and ie6, when I click attachment and
click "open" or "save" or "cancle", switch back to RCMAIL, RCMAIL is just
freezed, and after 45 seconds I can do anything, if I don't wait, I can use
browser "refresh" botton and RCMAIL will work right now, what happens in the
45 seconds? I't just a intel error timeout? any idea?
and how can I debug the RCMAIL like some linux -vv switch and then output a
very very verbose log?
thanks.
