Hello Thomas, Please accept our heartfelt appreciation of this beautiful piece of software. We are planning to set up RC for our internal mail system. Win 2003, Apache, MySql, Hmail, 0.1 RC1. Running on hardened XAMPP. I have set up the preview pane. It is seen that it is possible to redirect the preview pane "watermark.html" to a file within the server, probably outside the mail folder. We are planning to use this pane to host a Mail FAQ page and also to broadcast system-wide messages. Folder outside the mail root is chosen so that uploading rights can be given to any arbitrary person. It seems to be possible to redirect this to an external page also. Is there any security breach issue involved if this is implemented this way? Regards kmn

Identities problem after upgrade to RC1

Hullo, I just upgraded and everything works fine except for identities when sending mails. The 'Sender' select box on the form is empty, even though I have an identity set-up and it was working fine before the upgrade. Can anyone help me debug and fix this? Kind regards, Tom

Hi, I'm using the last svn version of RC and Courier-IMAP, I've problem with sessions. From time to time client get 'Login failed' error, when I look to the database I can see a session for this client and removing it solve the problem. help me :) Thx Riahi Taieb

attachments can not be opened correctly

Hello, I'm using the svn-version of rc and since some updates the attachment-download does not work any more. For example, if I click on an attached pdf, I get a new frame with the pdf-sourcecode in it. Usually Firefox should open the pdf in Acrobat Reader or ask me for a location to save the file. thank you for any help bjo -- ICQ# 12220433 | bjo.nord-west.org

Unable to log into latest stable release

Hi there, I've used Roundcube for quite some time, and decided to upgrade to latest stable release. Everything worked fine, and on the side, it's a nice improvement over the last version I was running. Now, for some obscure reason, I'm all of a sudden unable to log in. I have not changed any settings. Looking through the roundcube logs, I don't see anything indicating I even tried to log in, same goes for the mail.log. Anyone have this same problem, or anyone know where I should be looking for answers? All help appreciated. regards, Michiel Oosterling NewformsMedia

Hi Yesterday I've reported a blank page after login. That seems to be solved, It was a problem with my php configuration.. But know I'm getting "login failure" I'm trying to configure roundcube under FreeBSD, using postfix + mysql+ postfixadmin+dovecot(ssl) as imap server. Relevant lines I have changed on my config file: //mailserver running ssl $rcmail_config['default_host'] = 'ssl://10.0.0.54:993'; //default, because I think that's not relevant to server connection $rcmail_config['username_domain'] = ''; All my domains are considered as being virtual by postfix. So, perhaps I have to configure "virtual_query" under main.inc.php.? But what should be the correct syntax? What I have to change in this example? $rcmail_config['virtuser_query'] = "SELECT email_address FROM database.table WHERE login = '%u'"; Here's the query that dovecot (imap) uses to acess postfix: user_query = SELECT maildir, 1004 AS uid, 1002 AS gid FROM mailbox WHERE username = '%u' password_query = SELECT password FROM mailbox WHERE username = '%u' The logfile it not showing me nothing, so I don't know how to make roundcube work. Thanks in advance.

Blank page after login
