RC with Davical and calendar plugins from git.faster-it.com - any success?

Hi, has anyone succeeded to setup RC with Davical and calendar plugins from these guys? https://git.faster-it.com/roundcube_calendar/about/ I have made two attempts, but calendar plugin throws error: [01-Jun-2017 15:44:21 +0300]: <lv2ds8jr> DAV Error: Not authenticated in /usr/share/roundcubemail/plugins/calendar/lib/SabreDAV/lib/OldSabre/DAV/Client.php on line 425 (GET /?_task=calendar) I have debugged that the plugin passes base64 encoded string '%p' instead of real user password to authentication backend. But why and how to fix that - I have no idea really. There is SabreDAV and OldSabre packed inside plugin which makes things even more interesting :/ Once, on my first attempt, I had managed to setup plugin so that it was able to write to CalDAV database, but not able to read (verified from other client). Now I cannot even repeat that with second installation. I get above error message on both GET and POST operations. I suspect it was a configuration thing so maybe that is all that's required to change. But I am not sure. It should be noted that their repository is not without problems, the fork claims a working configuration, but some functions (insert_default_calendar(), _expand_user()) were missing, I had to add them from original sources here: https://gitlab.awesome-it.de/kolab/roundcube-plugins/tree/feature_caldav Any insight appreciated. Roundcube Webmail 1.3.0 released

Dear subscribers We proudly announce the stable version 1.3.0 of Roundcube Webmail which is now available for download. With this milestone we introduce new features since the 1.2 version: - Widescreen layout aka Three Column View - Possibility to display QR code for contacts data - New identicon plugin [1] - Attach contact vCards to composed message - Support WEBP images and MathML preview - Preview, download and rename attachments when composing a message - Message/rfc822 attachment preview - Various Enigma (PGP) and Managesieve plugin improvements - “Flattened” the Larry theme giving it a fresher look Plus security and deployment improvements: - Improve randomness of password salts and random hashes - Fixed redundancy in sql caching system and compatibility with Galera Cluster And finally some code-cleanup: - Dropped support for legacy browsers (IE < 10; removed legacy_browser plugin) - Require PHP >= 5.4 - Removed PHP mail() support - Removed 3rd party javascript libraries from the repository - Require jQuery 3.x which has breaking changes to older versions IMPORTANT: The code-cleanup part brings major changes and possibly incompatibilities to your existing Roundcube installations. Logins fail after 1.3.0 upgrade; work on 1.2.5

I have Roundcube checked out from git. When I from upgrade from 1.2.5 to 1.3.0 (git checkout 1.3.0), logins fail with the "Invalid request! No data was saved." error. Reverting to 1.2.5 (git checkout 1.2.5) allows logins to occur successfully. I tried the following, with no effect: - Running bin/install-jsdeps.sh, bin/installto.sh, bin/indexcontacts.sh and bin/cleandb.sh - Enabling both $config['force_https'] and $config['use_https'] - Enabling only $config['force_https'] - Truncating the session and cache_* tables Logs: nothing is added to logs/imap when these failures occur; logs/sql shows an INSERT to the session table config: - Ubuntu 16.04.2 - dovecot 2.2.22 - apache 2.4.18 - postfix 3.1.0 $config['default_port'] = 993; $config['default_host'] = 'ssl://myhostname.com'; Paul

installing 1.3.0: bin/install-jsdeps.sh: not found

Hi, thanks for the new version! I just upgraded from 1.2.5 to 1.3.0 (Complete) and got a "Installing JavaScript dependencies...sh: 1: bin/install-jsdeps.sh: not found" warning/error. -------------- [...] done. !! Old .htaccess file saved as .htaccess.orig !! Installing JavaScript dependencies...sh: 1: bin/install-jsdeps.sh: not found done. Running update script at target... Executing database schema update. Updating database schema (2016081200)... [OK] Updating database schema (2016100900)... [OK] Updating database schema (2016112200)... [OK] This instance of Roundcube is up-to-date. Have fun! All done. -------------- But RC seems to work fine?! My ./bin doesn't contain a install-jsdeps.sh file. Ciao!

INBOX sorting OK, destination folder NOT - mail list order by DATE - bug? and config fix for annoyance?

People, Generally I have the most recent mails sorted to the top of the display - today I noticed that some mails that came in today and yesterday were down the bottom of the list instead of at the top - AFTER I had moved them from the INBOX to their appropriate category folder. There seems to be no controls on folders that would affect this so I am not sure what is going on. The only clue I have is that the displayed dates for these problem mails are of the form: "Today|Tue HH:MM" instead of the usual International Format of: "YYYY-mm-dd HH:MM" so I am assuming it is something weird because of that - I imagine in a week's time they will be displaying in the correct order at the top of the list. This problem brings me to another another whinge (I think I have asked about this before) - I would like ALL my dates to be in the International Format instead of having identifiers "Today|Mon-Sun HH:MM" - is it possible I can configure this somehow? Need Help w/ email signature, folders & vacation message

Good afternoon. Hoping others can help me. I'm new to this email program & unlike the 4 diff ones I've used in the past, I am not finding how to... 1) set up my signature lines to auto print at the end of each composed message 2) where/how to set up an out-of-office message for when I'm on vacation in the coming weeks 3) set up & work with email message storage folders. Folders were carried over from old email program however I can't figure out how to set up new folders. Any/all help appreciated. Thanks, Tina

Install Debian Package without apache2_invoke

Hi there, I want to figure out if there is a possibility to install the debian roundcube package without installing or enabling the apache2 roundcube.conf. I don't want to use this config because it breaks workflows if you have more than one domain on your apache2 server and want your roundcube to be running on just one domain. I installed the debian packages “php” and “roundcube-pgsql” and “spawn-fcgid” before so there should be no reason for roundcube to force invoke the apache2 config on each update. Is there a possibility to work around that? I am writing an ansible role for my roundcube deployment. So I don't really need the autoconfiguration stuff from roundcube, but the debian package would simplify any updating processes. Greets, Johannes

managesieve -> «Unable to connect to server»

hello I installed Roundcube and enabled managesieve in */roundcube/config/config.inc.php* with // List of active plugins (in plugins/ directory) $config['plugins'] = array( 'archive', 'managesieve', 'zipdownload', ); but the filters don't work, I get the message «Unable to connect to server» (see screenshot) The sieve plugin seems to be installed in Dovecot, the partial output of *`dovecot -n`* is (see whole output at the end of this mail) plugin { sieve = file:~/sieve;active=~/.dovecot.sieve } What am I missing?
