Reply: Quoted message in new window; Signature at bottom but cursor at the top? - This used to work?

People, In a Reply to a message I always used to use: - A quoted message in a new window - With the signature at the bottom of the email but with the cursor positioned at the top of the email I do this because I nearly always do inline responses to the individual points. roundcube webmail forward to address

Dear list users: I have a question regarding roundcube webmail user interface. I would like to forward a message to someone in my contacts list. When I click the forward button the new message with a blank "to:" line appears. How can I insert in this field the recipient's address from my contacts? I couldn't find any button for that. I do not want to type the address. Thanks, Istvan

Roundcube message retrieval takes >12 seconds

I have an IMAP acount with about 1200 folders (nested in some fashion or another). And they are all subscribed as well. When a message is loaded (ie: double clicked) RoundCube is calling: LIST (SUBSCRIBED) "" "*" This results in dovecot/IMAP sending back the list and Apache going to 100% CPU usage during this time (dovecot is fine) -- it takes over 12s to view a single message. Why is RC making a LIST call when a message is fetched? Is there a way to disable this? Thanks, G H

PHP 5.6 - Roundcube 1.0.3 - Valid certificate

Hi gents, I've just upgraded my server to PHP 5.6 and ran straight into the invalid cert issue. It seems that by default, PHP will now check if the certificate is actually valid! That's quite a nice feature but a slight pain when you are mostly dealing with self-signed certificates. Now, I did go ahead and upgrade to an actual valid certificate! Unfortunately, it seems that when you are using : $config['default_host'] = 'ssl://localhost'; or $config['smtp_server'] = 'localhost'; The connection will fail because the hostname you provide isn't actually the one registered to the certificate? Now, I did have a workaround by replace 'localhost' by my external FQDN but that's very elegant or efficient. I'd rather see the connection stay internal if I can. This link <https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=187063> does seem to provide some solutions and I've tried using : $config['imap_conn_options'] = array( 'ssl' => array( 'verify_peer' => false, 'verfify_peer_name' => false, ), ); and $config['smtp_conn_options'] = array( 'ssl' => array( 'verify_peer' => false, 'verify_peer_name' => false, ), ); With no results so far. Is there something incredibly obvious that I'm missing? Here is the error log : IMAP Error: Login failed for x@x from x. Could not connect to ssl://localhost:993: Unknown reason in x/rcube_imap.php on line 184 (POST /?_task=login?_task=login&_action=login) I appreciate any help on the matter! Thank you

Threaded order.

Hi, all. When I thread my e-mail, the first e-mail in the thread is the one that shows in my inbox. Is there a way to reverse that order, and make it that the most recent e-mail shows? I'd vastly prefer to know that John sent me a reply five minutes ago, than that Joe started the thread two weeks ago. Thanks! -Ken

Not all mails shown for selected folder

Hi! I lately migrated my Squirremail to Roundcube 1.0.2 (with courier-imap 4.10.0 from Debian Wheezy as backend) and at first everything seemed fine. But now more and more users report they don't see all mails when they select a folder, which I am able to verify once I log in from my system with their user and a master-password. It for example only shows three unread mails while at the same time displaying something like "1 to 50 of 342 mails" in the list status. What I did so far: - switched from memcached to db for the index_cache - disabled the index_cache - disabled SORTing in the IMAP server I enabled the imap debug log in a test system which show the same problem. I can see roundcube fetches all messages, but displays only some of them. Sometimes I can get all messages to display after I wildly toggle the search filter from "All" to "Unread" or "Marked" or "with attachments" and back and forth and back again. So far I am quite desperate because there is a mob with pitchforks forming outside of my office. Has anybody seen that behavior? Any idea how to debug this any further? Can someone explain this Sent thread sorting?

People, I attach a screen capture of my Sent box - why does the second item on the list, which is a separate reply to the thread above it, get sorted to position 2?
