PHP Error: Deprecated hook name. user_preferences -> preferences_list in

Dear Experts, I see lot of error log entries: "Deprecated hook name. user_preferences -> preferences_list" It's an 'automatic_addressbook" plugin error, how can i repair? Gabor@Hungary

Roundcube 0.8-beta with new skin ready for testing

Hello folks With the just published version 0.8-beta we proudly release the all new user interface design of Roundcube, codename "Larry" out into the wild. It isn't enabled by default but you can easily enable and test the new look by setting $rcmail_config['skin'] = 'larry'; in your local config/main.inc.php file. Many thanks again to our volunteer designer at http://bueroflint.com for the great work! Some plugins may not yet provide templates and styles for the new skin, so expect certain things to appear broken. We hereby kindly invite all plugin developers to adapt their plugins to the new skin. Said that, we'd also like to mention that Internet Explorer 6 is no longer supported from this version on. Roundcube itself still works with IE6 but the new skin doesn't and we'll officially drop IE6 support anytime soon. It has just been around for too long... Beside the new UI, this version also contains some bugfixes and improvements (see http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Changelog) as well as some code refactorings. These can potentially break some plugins if they use calls to renamed or refactored functions. Please watch your logs and in case you should notice any errors, please report them to the according plugin developers. In addition to the technical and visual changes, starting with this release, Roundcube is now licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL) Version 3 or later (with exceptions for skins & plugins) as we recently announced on our website: http://roundcube.net/license. Please note that this is a beta release and we recommend to test it in a separate environment. The new skin most likely requires some more CSS hacking until we're ready for the 0.8 stable release. poppassd hang

I'm using roundcube and poppassd as the plugin for the change password. It was running fine in CentOS 5.6 using poppassd rpm. However, in CentOS 6 there is no rpm yet so I compile it following the procedure on this site<http://netwinsite.com/poppassd/#Unix_Installation>. The problem is it doesn't quit after after the newpass. Password was successfully change but since it doesn't exit/quit, then the pid is stuck on the background resulting to passwd defunct process. User is confuse because there is error in roundcubemail but the password was change. Error might be result of the poppassd not exiting. Just wondering if someone from the list has manage to fix this issue or at least use a rpm for CentOS 6 or RHEL 6. TIA, Nelson

Migrating the mysql database

Hello! We are right now in the process of migrating the roundcube database from one server to another, which is not working as expected. The problems we are seeing after migration is a long timeout during login, and then a message saying that the session is incorrect or have timed out. What is the correct procedure of moving the database? Perhaps we can write a short note about it? I can do that, as long as I know the details. Thanks a lot! Per

RC 0.7.2 - Taskbar buttons in compose without warning before exiting

Hello, In the compose page, if you click in one of the taskbar buttons, RC 0.7.2 is not sending the warning before execute the command. In 0.6 this is working just fine. Thanks! Valentim Branquinho

Update 0.7.2 released

Dear friends of Roundcube Today we can announce another release of the Roundcube webmail package. This service update adds some bug fixes and stability improvements to the 0.7 series. It also includes new settings to change how contacts are listed in the address book section. See the http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Changelog#Release0.7.2 file for details. Domain choosing in roundcube

Hi, I have a mail server which serves multiple domains, and want to be able to login using only the first part of the address (for example, nicolas(a)foo.org is able to login as nicolas), even if there is multiple accounts with same first part (for example, nicolas(a)foo.com and nicolas(a)foo.org), using a dropdown list of possible domains (here @foo.org and @foo.com), in a defined order (for the most commonly used to be default and not bother users having to choose too often) Is this possible and how?
