Hello, I'm a professional photographer looking for a new webmail solution. I'm hoping that you can answer a few of my questions I have about the services you offer. I want to merge both my professional & personal email accts into one program. Can I do this with roundcube? If so, can I also draft an email using either my personal &/or professional email address? Upon reading more about the services that you offer, am I correct in reading that you cannot send emails with attachments, and that you do not have spell check as of yet? If not, how far is that in the distant future for roundcube? Thank you in advance for answering my questions regarding your services. Error loading login page

I have been using roundcube for a while now and all has been well. I just updated my server and now I am getting the message. Fatal error: Call to undefined function session_set_save_handler() in /home/familychat/roundcube/program/include/session.inc on line 152 PHP was upgraded, but I didn't change anything. Any help on this would be great. Let me know if you need more info. RoundCube and Exim4 on Debian Sarge

Hi all! Just installed RoundCube to try it out. So far it looks good, runs fast, and feels smooth. One problem. When I send mail, RoundCube says the mail has been sent, but the mail never arrives. An examination of my Exim4 log shows the issue: 2006-03-21 01:27:02 SMTP protocol synchronization error (next input sent too soon: pipelining was advertised): rejected "MIME-Version: 1.0" H=localhost [ 127.0.0.1] next input="Date: Tue, 21 Mar 2006 1:27:02 -0500\r\nFrom: xxxxx <xxxxx@>\r\nTo: xxxxxx(a)gmail.com\r\nSubject: Test 3\r\nMessage-ID: < fcba0dbf860c58463ee731c15a075a0c@loc" Exim4 is working fine for sending other mail. I can send mail through it with Mutt for example. It recieves mail fine too. Anyone seen this problem? Another attachment issue . Now it's a Forward problem

RoundCube does not save Personal Settings

RoundCube is fantastic. However, when users set personal settings (language, default identity, etc.) it does not save them. The next time they login it all is back to default. Any hint? Where does RoundCube store the prefs? Regards R.

Attachment problem

I'm having a problem with attachment files bigger then 1Mb. 1) When I try to send more than 1Mb, I got a blank screen. 2) When I receive a mail with more than 1Mb attachment file, I just can't open it. My php.ini is configured to send 10Mb attachments and I have modified the htaccess on roundcube root dir to 10Mb too. Version 0.1 stable. Does anyone can give a hint about what is hapening? SMTP Error: Failed to add recipient

Hi All, I recently finished the Roundcube setup. I was getting a couple of errors, when I try to reply or send mail. The first error had something to do with permissions of logs and temp directory. I fixed it, thanks to some post in the list. The second error is: SMTP Error in /srv/www/htdocs/webmail/program/steps/mail/sendmail.inc (185): SMTP error: Failed to add recipient Any idea as what this might be? Thanks, Nitin

SMTP TLS (non-SSL)

All, Is there any way to configure roundcube to use TLS for SMTP but not via an SSL connection? Looking at the list archives I see a thread from 15 Nov 2005 that covered this for an SSL connection, i.e. setting configuration as: $rcmail_config['smtp_server'] = 'ssl://mail.host.com'; $rcmail_config['smtp_port'] = 465; But this doesn't work for me because I'm using port 25 and not using SSL. If I turn TLS off in postfix then the following configuration works fine: $rcmail_config['smtp_server'] = 'localhost'; $rcmail_config['smtp_port'] = 25; With TLS turned on though I just get errors. Thunderbird works okay so I'm either doing something stupid with roundcube's configuration or what I want to do isn't supported. Any and all help offered will be appreciated! Regards, Matt P.S. I only really understand SMTP, TLS, etc. to be dangerous but I do have some PHP experience so if the functionality is missing then I'm quite prepared to roll up my sleeves and dig in. I assume since TLS is supported via SSL it can't be too big a job.

Browser back/forward page vs. RC's navigation icons

One thing I've noticed, if I use the RoundCube navigation icons, then all of the problems with messages appearing not to move, or not being deleted, then things go smooth and accurate. Also the hourglass notice at the top-center of the page always displays. However, if I use the forwards/backwards navigation of my webbrowser (IE at the moment.), then the message list display does not always update, nor do I get the top-center update display. Haven't coded HTML or JS in ages, but is there a way to prevent usage of the browsers navigation shortcuts, and force the use of RC's icons for navigation? Or perhaps the login screen should have a say something like "Please use the navigation icons within RoundCube, do not use your browsers forward or reverse features"? Layman's guess, but when using the browsers forward/reverse, then the JS functions do not always trigger, and the browser is caching the main display page, and not showing a current view. And yes, Cache is set to false, but would a pragma no-cache prevent the browser from loading a stale page? -- Dan Schaper
