Problem solved I was using firefox 2.0. I tryied IE 6 and Firefox 1.5.0.7 and they showed plain text messages correctly. So empty cache, deleted cookies and stuff. it's working in my firefox 2.0 now. Hi guys Plain text messages, no matter if they come from other mail servers or my owns server, do not break lines. For example. If I check the original mail it shows like this: xxxxxxx yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz But if I see this message using roundcube it is shown like this: xxxxxxx yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz html messages are shown properly Anyone had this issue? save the sent mails

Hi Buddies: I have this problem. When some user send emails from the webmail, the send mail is stored in the webmail. But not in the send of the client mail that the user uses for download mail via pop or imap. This is not a problem, it's understandable by how work pop, imap and the webmail. But I need to have consistence between the mails sent via the webmail and the mail client. First of all I think in a php script, in the webmail page, to send the sender the email he has sent. Hello, I would like to make a login window to roundcubemail from a static page. Is it possible ? According to the login source page there is an _auth value set dynamically, for this reason I can't create a login window on a static page of our website. Is there any solution ? Problems with spanish location settings

Hello buddies: I have roundcube running in my work. I have around 30 users, and all is working very good, but I have only one problem. When some account try to set the location (int the preferences), to spanish location (español), the messages in the inbox are with de sender and subject in blank. I think this is for the character encoding. I have the database created like the installation readme, and is working very good with the US location. Have u got some solution to the character encoding problem? I have been reading the forum for two weeks, and I only found a patch, from some french buddy, but I first want to ask here. Creating own e-mail list

Hi all, ive tried to create my own email list in hmail, but unfortunaly emails send by this list are rejected from mail server around the world with the following reason: Error Type: SMTP Error Description: Error message from remote server Message: 550 5.7.1 <richard(a)marnau.eu>... MX 10 'mail.marnau.eu.' [85.88.14.68] for <richard(a)marnau.eu> did not accept the empty address, <>, as required by RFC 821, 1123, 2505, and 2821. smtp settings are correct, there is a domain spezified. Any hints ? Problem with some attachments - 2

Hello, I noticed the same problems with showing the attachments as Tobias Pyndt Steinmann few days ago did. What i noticed is: - the problematic attachments in my case have long name ("more than 64 characters") - it does not matter the order of the attachments in the mail (first, last, somewhere in the middle) - I suspect that there might be a bug in parsing the filename of the attachment from the mail source (since long filenames usually expand to two filename lines in MIME) - in the index view, there is a correct attachment sign even It would be good if someone would report the bug to the developers in TRAC. cheers, Jernej BTW: registration in the forums does not work (mail was not sent to me :))

Empty message list

RoundCube fails to display messages in the message-list even though the number of new messages is shown in the page-title ("(11) RoundCube Webmail :: Spam") . This only seems to happen for my Spam folder. Verified the content of the folder with Thunderbird and there are 11 new msgs in the Spam box Today, one new message was shown in the Spam folder message-list, even though the number of unread messages in that folder was 11. After logging off and loggin on again, the message-list for Spam was empty again. Anyone any clue? Messages deleted when replied to or forwarded

Hi I am experiencing a rather big problem when using RoundCube Mail. Whenever I reply to and email or decide to forward one, the mail being replied to or forwarded is deleted. This is not exactly the behavior I am used to from other email clients and I have not been able to find it reported on this list previously. I am running the latest release in the Freebsd ports dated September 28. Has anyone else experienced the same problem? Best regards, Soeren

List of hosts

I know this is a silly/stupid question, but what is the syntax for specifying a list of hosts for rouncube? All it says in the config file is "a list" I want to specify two hosts: mail.mydomain.tld ssl://mail.mydoamin.tld:993 Yes, they are the same hosts, but the SSL connects to courier/mysql and the non ssl connects to uw-imap. $rcmail_config['default_host'] = 'mail.mydomain.tld ssl:// mail.mydoamin.tld:993' Didn't seem to work, and neither did $rcmail_config['default_host'] = 'mail.mydomain.tld, ssl:// mail.mydoamin.tld:993' Either the format is wrong, or it doesn't like the same host with multiple connection types. Also, is there anyway to specify exactly what is shown in the drop down list once I get the list format correct? That was it Rob! I changed the value from $rcmail_config['ip_check'] = TRUE; to $rcmail_config['ip_check'] = FALSE; and all is well. Thanks for assist. Looks like I need to read some more on the settings for RoundCube. Hope this helps others that run into a similar situation. I installed roundcubemail-nightly-20060914.tar.gz last week on my Slackware 10.2 server and have been using it at home without issue. It's a refreshing change from SquirrelMail and I would like to eventually switch from SquirrelMail to RoundCube. I do seem to have a problem sustaining a session when I access RoundCube from work which is never a problem with SquirrelMail. A session with RoundCube lasts for about 1 minute then I get the message "Your session is invalid or expired". That happens if I just login and do nothing. I checked the main.inc.php file and have $rcmail_config['session_lifetime'] = 10;. The invalid session issue happens even faster if I try to compose an email and hit the send button. I tried a test from my neighbor's DSL which is through a different ISP on Qwest DSL so I don't think it's LAN vs. WAN related. The only difference I can think of is that I am behind a restrictive proxy server at work. I suspect that there is some type of keep alive function that is prevented from doing its job. Any suggestions on what the problem might be? TIA Stu

The xls files are all under 2M. In fact, one file originaly sent had about 67k and the file identified to save by roundcube had 2k. Maybe it's not about limits. rcmail can't handle chinese filename attachment correctly & Content-Type: message/rfc822 will miss while forwarding

Neither attachment with chinese filename at new mail composing nor forwarding a mail with chinese filename attachment can't be handled correctly. The chinese part in attachment filename will miss. And mail with a part of type "Content-Type: message/rfc822" can't be forwarded correctly. This part will miss while forwarding. I use version 0.1 beta2.

Download specific attachments from e-mails

Hi, I recently discovered that I cannot download corectly certain attachments, like xls or wmv files for example. I tried with different extensions, .doc's or image files work fine. How does this happen: when opening the message I get the list of attachments where it describes corectly the name and extension of files. When clicked for saving on the local drive, the file name in the save window becomes 'mail' or 'mail2.2' of an unknown type and with a smaller size (I downloaded it with Outlook Express and compared files). That's what happened with the xls file; the wmv file size appeared corectly (about 2M) but the name was still 'mail2.2'. >From reading the sources of Roundcube I think the problem is when it tries to identify the mime parts of the message (mimeDecode.php). Am I correct? Do I need to upgrade some library or specific application? Thanks a lot, jax

IMAP Regression w/ SVN version vs 0.1_Beta_1

Hi All, I installed Roundcube last week on V0.1Beta_1 then found some issues with it(http://trac.roundcube.net/trac.cgi/ticket/132 7068), which prompted me to upgrade to the SVN Version. After I upgraded it, It will not load emails from my Imap server (Cyrus-imapd) which has >25K of messages in one folder. The logs will there is a timeout of 120seconds of script execution time. This issue is not present in the 0.1_Beta_1 version of roundcube. is this a known issue?

problem with installation

Hi, I followed all the instructions and was able to install Roundcube just fine. However, it does not let me login. I changed the config settings as follows: // the mail host chosen to perform the log-in // leave blank to show a textbox at login, give a list of hosts // to display a pulldown menu or set one host as string. // To use SSL connection, enter ssl://hostname:993 $rcmail_config['default_host'] = 'ssl://mail.fas.harvard.edu:993'; // TCP port used for IMAP connections $rcmail_config['default_port'] = 993; The error log shows the following problem: [26-Sep-2006 14:24:22 -0400] IMAP Error: Could not connect to ssl://mail.fas.harvard.edu at port 993: The operation completed successfully. in on line 0 I don't understand what this error message means. The database settings seem to all work. I tried logging in as username/password and also as username(a)fas.harvard.edu and password. I also tried another (secure) mail server and had the same problem. I suspect that it has something to do with the communication between Roundcube and the IMAP server - but the error message above was too cryptic for me to investigate any further. Hi We have recently started using roundcube for our business email, through the cpanel used to set up our website. However, when we log in to check our emails, there is often a nimber in the panel on the left next to the inbox, indicating that we have new mail, but the only way to get the new mail into the inbox to read it is by clicking on refresh or inbox or cjeck mail a few times beofre it is there to be read. There is also often a long delay in messages actually coming into inbox, i.e. we had a couple sent on friday, but we only received them in our inbox this afternoon? DO you have any ideas why this may be? Rich Text Editor

I would like to suggest that some other rich text editor be used in roundcune other than tinymce. Tinymce takes too much time to load and somehow doesnt go with the roundcune interface. Today I was browsing the osx86 forums (http://forum.insanelymac.com) and thought that the rich text editor used by them would go perfectly with roundcube. Any comments?

just discovered this extraordinary looking application ! i currently have a debian server running postfix and courier-imap and using mysql as user database ... are there any issues i'll encounter with this installation? anything special i need to know before attempting the installation? do i need to uninstall sqwebmail first? Any help would be greatly appreciated -- i'm foolish enough to attempt this install on a production server and can't afford to mess up anything :-) thanks in advance for the help. kenn

Multiple Domains

I am evaluating RoundCube and SquirrelMail I would like some feedback on both before installing... RoundCube supports multiple domains... Is it possible to set a parameter so a user can have their domain filled in when navigating to the login screen from their domain? Are there any bugs that may be showstoppers. The only folders that I can subscribe to are those which belong to my own user account, even though Cyrus IMAP has given me permissions to access other mailboxes. Hi I have RC from SVN (version 348) and I can't delete message with attachment which have 9,5MB In php.ini memory_limit is a 32MB size Anyone have same problem? Albert

The users table in the RoundCube database has a separate col for login aliases. Unfortunately there's not UI to fill it in, you have to set it manually using your favorite database admin tool. In case you have specified a virtuser file in your config ($rcmail_config['virtuser_file']) the e-mail address will be looked up on the first login (with your cryptic user name) and will then be added automatically to the alias col. Virtuser files are text files that have an email -> username pair on each line. Regards, Thomas P.S. I am currently testing revision 346 and found these bugs: 1. Spell check doesn't work with html messages. It is greyed out (disabled) when in main.inc.php, the value is set to true for enable spellcheck. 2. If enable spell check is set to false, the spell check icon, though faded out still appears on the compose screen, whereas setting enable spellcheck as false should completely remove this icon. 3. On the save identity page, if HTML signature is clicked, the Rich Text Area that opens up is hardly visible, its background and border being the same color as the rest of the page. One has to assume that this area is meant to write your signature and once you write in it, only then a scroll bar appears which makes it somewhat separate from the rest of the form. 4. In Internet Explorer 6, when a HTML message is composed, the signatures are not inserted into the message automatically. There is no such problem is Firefox 1.5 5. In Firefox 1.5, clicking on some of the TinyMCE icons such as smilies opens up a pop up window, which cannot be re sized and whose content don't fit into the screen that has opened. There is no way to scroll and hence the content is cut. In case of smilies, I can only see one column of smilies. There is no such problem in Internet Explorer 6. These are the bugs which I found out in my initial testing of revision 346 of the RoundCube SVN. I will post more if I find any. The developers are requested to see if they can reproduce these errors and if they can, try to fix them in future revisions. Regards, Nipun Jain.

I am unable to get quotas to work with cPanel. The Disk Usage always says unknown or unlimited but is not able to tell the exact usage out of the given space alloted. Is there any way I can fix it? Login from a Seperate Page

For a variety of reasons, I'd like to create my own login page. I have found experimentally that it is insufficient to just duplicate the Form tag from the Round Cube login page on my own page as shown below. It seems to be realted to cookies, as it takes me back to the Round Cube login page and flashes an error saying my browser doesn't accept cookies. Remove Junk folder

Hi all, Installed RC last week and it looks very promissing :-) Currently I'm ussing a heavely modified Squirrelmail setup but would like to easely upgrade and not have to add all the plugins all the time. There is a junkmail folder automaticly created when logging on, I don't use this folder as all 'Junk' messages are placed in the Spam folder. From the folders menu I can't unsubscribe this Junk folder. Second issue I have with this is that in some translations the Junk folder is renamed in Spam which is confusing as I then have two folders with the same name. Keep up the good work !!

forward as attach, auto show new folders and more

Hi all i install roundcube to work as a quarantine interface for our global virus and spam folders, but i have some specific problems about this: - i need to forward the emails as attach for the bayes filter, forward inline doesnt work as its needed... Is there way to change the forward behavior (one option, patch, other solution) or does require a big rewrite? note that i dont need to write anything to the forward message, other than the TO:, so a hack like "echo | mutt -a $email_file $to" could be enough... -i archive the last day quarantine to a folder date, but roundcube requires me to every day add that new folder, is any option to tell roundcube to auto select all available folders everytime? -i also need to "release" some spam from that quarantine, so i would need to forward the email with the "email from" to the "email to"... the sendmail command would be something like this: sendmail -f $from $to < $email_file probably with the forward as attach, this could probably be hacked easily i would do that, but i have limited php knowledge and dont know where to change all this... at least i was able to put the search box searching for TO, CC, Subject, From, but that was too easy 8) finally, i'm having problems using imaps, using plain imap all works fine, but with imaps i always get wrong authentication (the imap server is working fine, i can connect with a email client with via plain imap and via ssl) thanks in advance for any help higuita -- Naturally the common people don't want war... but after all it is the leaders of a country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Issues with Spellchecker

Hi All, Using beta2 and am having an issue with the spellcheck feature. I have enabled both the OpenSSL and Sockets extensions in IIS 6, and have verified with phpinfo(); that they are loaded. However I still seem to be getting these PHP Warning messages which according to the RoundCube FAQ would indicate that I don't have these extensions enabled; PHP Warning: fsockopen(): no SSL support in this build in X:\roundcubemail\program\steps\mail\spell.inc on line 34 PHP Warning: fsockopen(): unable to connect to www.google.com:443 in X:\roundcubemail\program\steps\mail\spell.inc on line 34 Are there any other PHP settings that could be preventing the RoundCube spellchecker from working?

beta2 unusable for me

Beta1 was the first version I installed. Today I wanted to upgrade to beta2 but went back to beta1 because of this: When I login I see the mail in my Inbox, but when I click on another folder I don't see any mail and even when I go to the Inbox again I don't see my mail anymore. I have to click on the "mail" symbol to see my mail again. Another issue I experienced was that the search box was somewhat behind the roundcube logo what rendered it more or less unusable, but that wouldn't have prevented me from using beta2. I upgraded my installation in two ways: 1) following the instructions from the UPGRADING and 2) replacing the whole roundcube folder with beta2 and editing the config files again. The issues occurred either way. The only thing I didn't touch was the database, but the database structure didn't change from beta1 to beta2, did it? I just wanted to let you know about this. If you need more information for fixing this or whatever, please let me know. So far I will stick to beta1 and hope that the next release will be less buggy. Can't select several contacts

Hello, Since I updated roundcube to the latest version through svn, one of our user reported that now we can't select several contacts from the Address Book and then click on "Send message to". However this was possible in a previous version, and, indeed, I confirm that this was possible before. User Issues

Hello I am having an issue here, I have a server with several different users and domains. (ie, test.com, raretest.com, judgeelect.com) all my mail boxes are on the same server. When someone from any of the domains regardless of their alias login they get the raretest.com alias as what there sending from and its not reading their IMAP account information from the server? Any suggestions. Details: mbox: - adsupport alias - support(a)domain.com when they login, they get --> adsupport(a)domain.com when they recive they get support(a)domain.com when they send they get adsupport(a)domain.com why is that happening, why is that when the user logins in, its creating their own alias and not reading the imap server?

Customising RoundCubeMail

Hello, I'm using roundcubemail for a while and up to now it is really one of the best I ever installed. We're a ISP company in switzerland offering one of the first green hosting and email and I was looking for a Webmail for our customer. After a lot of tests with IMP, Neomail, etc. I finally found RC and just adopted it :-) Now, I would need some customisation in the webmail (more than changing the skin). I would need mainly two things: - a part where users can send SMS (quota and configuration is managed in a postgresql database). This part could include a place where the user can change his cellphone number. An idea would also be that the contact list would include the gsm number, then a user could send an sms using the list of his contacts. - a part where users can change their pop3/imap password and de/activate a vacation (also managed in a postgresql database) Of course this is very specific, but I wanted to know if it could have some interests for other RC users before I try to implement that. Hi again, As usual, the latest release contained some nasty bugs. Sending mails using PHP's mail() function completely ignored the message headers. This and some charset issues are now fixed. I updated the beta-release package in the download section. Because many files are involved in this bugfix, I did not create a patch file but I rather suggest to download the beta-version again and replace index.php and all contents of the program folder. Wrong reply address in Identities

All works fine but when I login in a account I have in Identities like email "username@Array" Ie: the user "admin" have a email "admin@Array" This "username@Array" is used like reply address for my accounts (this is a fake address) I can change it manually but is not the better way to do ... Hi, I just installed Roundcube on my linux postfix system. Can't delete mails

Hi ! I'm new on this list and with the use of roundcube... I just installed it yesterday : install OK, login OK, send OK, receive OK. But I can't delete messages. I've read such a story in the archives, but the bug has been closed because SVN version should have fixed it. Problem : I installed yesterday THE freshly downloaded SVN version, and the bug is here... I have an idea : my host provides me a pop server, with an IMAP "layer" for PHP. And my host doesn't provide the folders functionnality. Could this be the problem ? If there's no possibility to create the trash folder, the mails aren't moved, and they stay in INBOX ? Hello, I'm new to the list, I've looked at the last couple of months of archive information and haven't notice anyone else having this problem. So I though I would ask if anyone else has run across this problem. I downloaded the latest public SVN version of roundcubemail and I managed to get it install to the point where i get something to show up in my browser. I've tried a few previous versions of roundcube and gotten error message so i would consider what i've got a much better success. Rich Text Editor

I am using the latest SVN release of rouncube and wanted to add HTML editor facility fo composing mails. I integrated tinyMCE Rich Text Editor with Roundcube. It correctly shows the required toolbars in the compose text area. But the problem is that, when I compose a HTML message using tinyMCE, then on sending the mail, RoundCube asks if I want to send the message without any text whereas the text does exist in the message body. If I choose to ignore this message and send the mail anyway, then I do receive the email sent at the recipient's address, but in plain ASCII, that is with all the HTML source shown instead of a HTML message. Outgoing SSL problem

Hello, I am trying to connect to an OpenLDAP server from Roundcube using SSL. However, the SSL connection is never properly initialized due to error 81 from the LDAP server. If I try openssl s_client -connect ldap.example.com:636 -showcerts -state -ssl3 -CAfile cacerts.pem then creating SSL connection works just fine (verify return code is 0). In this case the server certificate is self-signed and is included in cacerts.pem. I wonder if there is any mechanism in Roundcube or PHP to deal with self-signed server certificates when using LDAP->connect/bind? I would expect a way to introduce server certificates of trusted peer servers (such as the LDAP server above). How can this be done in Roundcube? If this is a PHP/Apache-level issue, then please let me know. WBR, --jari

Hi, let me start by saying how good RoundCube is, it fits my needs exactly. I have 1 small tweak, that I am wondering if it's possible. I want my installation of RoundCube to skip the logon screen, and go straight to a single account inbox. This may sound likea strange request, but I'll explain. I host RoundCube my for own personal use, on my own server, and I use apache's security to protect the server contents. As it stands, I have to log onto the server using Apache's logon, then log on again to the webmail. I wish to hardcode the last part of the process. How can I acheieve this? Thanks.

I'm currently trying SVN 269. Everything works fine. But I have noticed that the mail.gif file was not working in my copy and I had to replace it from an older version. Maybe my SVN update was corrupt or something. Coming to the point, I would (again) request someone to help me on a issue which I have been unable to sort out. I want to make the email field in the new / edit identity page as hidden and auto populate it with the username of the user logged in. I tried editing edit_identity.inc file but any changes I made to the file (such as putting value = xxx) made the edit identity page blank in roundcube. Can anyone help me with this? Regards.

dbmail issue?

Hello I got RC installed I can see my folders and the subject line of each message but I can't get them to open. I have used the demo so I know I got to double click. Also I can't delete any messages. Am I doing something wrong here? I am using Squirrel Mail and I have tried V webmail as well as IlohaMail and had no problems. Email me direct if you need to see this. I'll send you a test user name and pass. I would love to get this working. By the way, how does your spellchecker work? I speak 3 languages and this would come in very handy. Where do you get the data from for the spellchecker. I know I don't have all those installed on my server. -- Demi

hi, I have managed to sort out the blank pages it was the db connection. when ever i try to login i get invalid login. I've installed roundcube also I've install russian language pack, but I can't change language to russian. So, switching to it i needed to let my users the freedom of logging in only with the first part of their e-mail addy. It's not possible by default. Anyway after searching everywhere possible (less forums since they are not working at this moment) i got to look into the code myself. umlaut characters sometimes not properly displayed in Subject

Some emails with umlaut characters ( ä ö ü ß etc.) display only a question mark where the umlaut character should be. The same emails are properly displayed in Thunderbird, so maybe this is a RoundCube problem. Here is the header of such an email (some fields deleted). It should display "Löschfunktion" but only displays "L?schfunktion"

RoundCube does not work with shared folders

Our company is using an IMAP mail server with many shared folders (for example, all email going to info(a)mycompany.domain goes into a shared "info" folder which is visible to every employee). RoundCube displays only the private folders, not the shared folders. They are not listed in the "Folders" tab in the settings page. If you wish, I can set up a demo IMAP mail server having such shared folders to help you debugging this issue. change request: rearrange next / previous mail buttons in email window

Hi all, I have just installed RoundCube from svn and was using it for a few minutes. I was wondering why there were no next / previous message button in the email view window, only a fat green left arrow that takes me back to the email folder (I was assuming it meant "previous message"). After quite some time I discovered tiny next / previous buttons at the very bottom of the email window. This is rather counter-intuitive. The next / previous buttons should be in the top icon tool bar where all the other important stuff is. The buttons could be arranged like this: - a green left and right arrow: when clicked, these go to the previous and next email in the current folder - a green up arrow: when clicked, the current folder is displayed (same action as current left arrow) cheers, Arne

No Trash Folder

I am currently trying out Release 260 of the SVN. The problem is when a newly created user logs into rc, only inbox is shown (in beta all three folders got created by default). Now when a mail is sent, the Sent folder is created but when I try to delete a mail, it gives an error. Only after creating a folder manually am I able to delete any mail. Is this behaviour normal? Shouldn't the Trash folder also get created when a mail is to be deleted. Now I am not much familiar with php but afaik, there must be some code that is used in creating the folders that is used in the folders tab of the settings. Where is that code in the rc files and can I use that code to auto create these 3 folders for a new user ( I have a php script that creates a new user, I can put this code there). i've finally got my roundcube working, sending and receiving mails from the internet, prior to installing roundcube, postfix has tls and sasl authentication and was integrated with dspam and clamav using amavisd-new, however when roundcube was installed as the webmail client, i can no longer see from the maillogs the mails being scanned before being sent and before accepting for delivery. is this normal? or roundcube totally bypass them? TIA

Hi All, I currently set various IMAP flags via my sieve script e.g. all mails sent directly to me are marked as "Personal". Thunderbird interprets this and colours any messages with this label. Are there any plans to implement this sort of feature in roundcube? i.e. a set of setable filters that check for a specific IMAP label and then colours the message a specific colour? This is different from IMAP flags which can only be on or off and which roundcube supports. I've searched the forum (and tried to search the list archive, how about a search on lists.roundcube.net?) but not found anything. Sorting by date messed up

Hi, I recently started using Roundcube (nice work!) and it has worked fine. However, just a few days ago I decided to migrate from courier-imap to dovecot. After some messing around with namespaces it now appears to be working fine, but now roundcube doesn't sort messages by date properly anymore. I can't see any logic in the sorting, it seems to be just random. The problem exists in all my email folders, not just INBOX. In my imap-client Evolution sorting by date works correctly. In squirrelmail it also displays correctly. I have tried to enable/disable Pretty Dates but the sorting doesn't change. adding new user

first off all i would like to thank all the people who developed roundcube, it's a great webmail application i've seen, if not the best. so without further ado, i would like to ask a very newbie question, how would i create users for roundcube? what interface will i use? will phpMyAdmin do? i tried logging in to my newly install roundcube by using the user created during the fresh install of my freebsd6.1 box, but i always get "login failed" message. is roundcube using maildir? my postfix and dovecot was configured to use maildir. TIA

Is folder management planned ?

Hi, I find Roundcube to be a great mail client, but one thing bores me in daily use : there is no folder management, no way to create, delete, rename.. folders within RC. Does anyone know when it will be implemented ? Thanks in advance. Simon

Folders in CVS and New Identity

I am using the CVS of 5th may and have a couple of questions. When a new user account is created then when that user logs into his inbox using the cvs version, only the inbox is subscribed, the sent and the trash folder are not. This creates a problem when deleting messages which gives an error and the message doesnt get deleted. However, sending an email does creat the sent folder. There is no such problem in the 0.1 beta. When a new account is created and the user logs in to rc beta, all three folders are there. Secondly, is there any way to auto populate the email field in the new identity page of roundcube? I want to automatically field the email field while creating a new identity with the username (i.e. the email address) of the user logged in. Is it possible? Hope someone comes up with a solution. Regards, Nipun Jain. PS: I noticed that cvs for rc has been discontinued in favor of svn. But how to download the latest svn? I could not find any tarball or any other archive in the svn tree, only the individual files. So do I have to download all the rc files individually from the svn?

Refresh issue on the 05 05 2006 CVS that's not a cache setting?

Good morning list, I installed the 0505CVS a few days ago, so far to excellent reviews (especially the spellchecker)... however, clicking to individual folders does not show that folders contents -- including going BACK to the inbox, it shows as empty. I remember this in the alpha days as being a cache issue, as I assumed -- so I turned Cache to false in the main.inc.php file -- didn't help. I turned the cache life to 10 seconds, didn't help (though I figured irrelevant after I turned off the cache, figured it'd be worth a shot). I deleted all the mysql databases, and reinstalled it again and tried it, but still no viewing. Is this something that others are seeing? The beta doesn't seem to have this issue, so I can roll it back, but just inquiring. Thanks, any suggestions as to areas I'm missing is appreciated.
