Hello I am having an issue here, I have a server with several different users and domains. (ie, test.com, raretest.com, judgeelect.com) all my mail boxes are on the same server. When someone from any of the domains regardless of their alias login they get the raretest.com alias as what there sending from and its not reading their IMAP account information from the server? Any suggestions. Details: mbox: - adsupport alias - support(a)domain.com when they login, they get --> adsupport(a)domain.com when they recive they get support(a)domain.com when they send they get adsupport(a)domain.com why is that happening, why is that when the user logins in, its creating their own alias and not reading the imap server?

LDAP autocomplete

Hi I am playing around with roundcube (svn from trunk) and having some troubles with LDAP, I can do searches on the addressbook fine, but would really like ldap addresses to autocomplete, similar to addresses from the user addressbook. Is this possible? If so, what config setting do i need to enable? Thanks, H

Customising RoundCubeMail

Hello, I'm using roundcubemail for a while and up to now it is really one of the best I ever installed. We're a ISP company in switzerland offering one of the first green hosting and email and I was looking for a Webmail for our customer. After a lot of tests with IMP, Neomail, etc. I finally found RC and just adopted it :-) Now, I would need some customisation in the webmail (more than changing the skin). I would need mainly two things: - a part where users can send SMS (quota and configuration is managed in a postgresql database). This part could include a place where the user can change his cellphone number. An idea would also be that the contact list would include the gsm number, then a user could send an sms using the list of his contacts. - a part where users can change their pop3/imap password and de/activate a vacation (also managed in a postgresql database) Of course this is very specific, but I wanted to know if it could have some interests for other RC users before I try to implement that. Hi again, As usual, the latest release contained some nasty bugs. Sending mails using PHP's mail() function completely ignored the message headers. This and some charset issues are now fixed. I updated the beta-release package in the download section. Because many files are involved in this bugfix, I did not create a patch file but I rather suggest to download the beta-version again and replace index.php and all contents of the program folder. Empty Folders

Hi! I am using rouncube cvs snapshot and all my folders show no messages, sometimes just after logout/login they appear but if I try to read them they vanish.. Wrong reply address in Identities

Hi all! I just instaled roundcube from FreeBSD ports. All works fine but when I login in a account I have in Identities like email "username@Array" Ie: the user "admin" have a email "admin@Array" This "username@Array" is used like reply address for my accounts (this is a fake address) I can change it manually but is not the better way to do ... Changing HELO

Hi, I just installed Roundcube on my linux postfix system. Because of spam I have some very restrictive on the system, this rule is preventing RoundCube from sending mail smtpd_helo_restrictions = reject_invalid_hostname, reject_unknown_hostname, reject_non_fqdn_hostname, permit This is because when roundcube connects to my smtp server it uses localhost for the HELO command Jul 24 11:20:13 neei postfix/smtpd[1111]: NOQUEUE: reject: RCPT from localhost.localdomain[127.0.0.1]: 450 <localhost>: Helo command rejected: Host not found; from=<me(a)neei.uevora.tld> to=<me(a)neei.uevora.tld> proto=ESMTP helo=<localhost> How can I change the configuration so RoundCube send neei.uevora.tld with the HELO command? Can't delete mails

Hi ! I'm new on this list and with the use of roundcube... I just installed it yesterday : install OK, login OK, send OK, receive OK. But I can't delete messages. I've read such a story in the archives, but the bug has been closed because SVN version should have fixed it. Problem : I installed yesterday THE freshly downloaded SVN version, and the bug is here... I have an idea : my host provides me a pop server, with an IMAP "layer" for PHP. And my host doesn't provide the folders functionnality. Could this be the problem ? If there's no possibility to create the trash folder, the mails aren't moved, and they stay in INBOX ? Hello list Is there any way to get LDAP autocompletion, similar to how contacts from the personal address book are auto-suggested when typing in the TO: field? Hello, I'm new to the list, I've looked at the last couple of months of archive information and haven't notice anyone else having this problem. So I though I would ask if anyone else has run across this problem. I downloaded the latest public SVN version of roundcubemail and I managed to get it install to the point where i get something to show up in my browser. I've tried a few previous versions of roundcube and gotten error message so i would consider what i've got a much better success. When I load the login page, i get the following message in the page: SERVICE CURRENTLY NOT AVAILABLE! Rich Text Editor

I am using the latest SVN release of rouncube and wanted to add HTML editor facility fo composing mails. I integrated tinyMCE Rich Text Editor with Roundcube. It correctly shows the required toolbars in the compose text area. But the problem is that, when I compose a HTML message using tinyMCE, then on sending the mail, RoundCube asks if I want to send the message without any text whereas the text does exist in the message body. If I choose to ignore this message and send the mail anyway, then I do receive the email sent at the recipient's address, but in plain ASCII, that is with all the HTML source shown instead of a HTML message. Anybody having any idea as to how to resolve this? Regards, Nipun Jain.

Outgoing SSL problem

Hello, I am trying to connect to an OpenLDAP server from Roundcube using SSL. However, the SSL connection is never properly initialized due to error 81 from the LDAP server. If I try openssl s_client -connect ldap.example.com:636 -showcerts -state -ssl3 -CAfile cacerts.pem then creating SSL connection works just fine (verify return code is 0). In this case the server certificate is self-signed and is included in cacerts.pem. I wonder if there is any mechanism in Roundcube or PHP to deal with self-signed server certificates when using LDAP->connect/bind? I would expect a way to introduce server certificates of trusted peer servers (such as the LDAP server above). How can this be done in Roundcube? If this is a PHP/Apache-level issue, then please let me know. WBR, --jari

Single User mode.

Hi, let me start by saying how good RoundCube is, it fits my needs exactly. I have 1 small tweak, that I am wondering if it's possible. I want my installation of RoundCube to skip the logon screen, and go straight to a single account inbox. This may sound likea strange request, but I'll explain. I host RoundCube my for own personal use, on my own server, and I use apache's security to protect the server contents. As it stands, I have to log onto the server using Apache's logon, then log on again to the webmail. I wish to hardcode the last part of the process. How can I acheieve this? Thanks.

Identity

I'm currently trying SVN 269. Everything works fine. But I have noticed that the mail.gif file was not working in my copy and I had to replace it from an older version. Maybe my SVN update was corrupt or something. Coming to the point, I would (again) request someone to help me on a issue which I have been unable to sort out. I want to make the email field in the new / edit identity page as hidden and auto populate it with the username of the user logged in. I tried editing edit_identity.inc file but any changes I made to the file (such as putting value = xxx) made the edit identity page blank in roundcube. Can anyone help me with this? Regards.

dbmail issue?

Hello I got RC installed I can see my folders and the subject line of each message but I can't get them to open. I have used the demo so I know I got to double click. Also I can't delete any messages. Am I doing something wrong here? I am using Squirrel Mail and I have tried V webmail as well as IlohaMail and had no problems. Email me direct if you need to see this. I'll send you a test user name and pass. I would love to get this working. By the way, how does your spellchecker work? I speak 3 languages and this would come in very handy. Where do you get the data from for the spellchecker. I know I don't have all those installed on my server. -- Demi

hi, I have managed to sort out the blank pages it was the db connection. when ever i try to login i get invalid login. I have multiple domains for email but are using roundcube only for one. it seams that i that i may be missing a settng as the file below varies from the installation instructions. especially this part: The next two settings (SMTP User and SMTP Password) need to be set (if you want to send from Roundcube). hi, I am deploying round cube onto my mail server and are having some issues. I have configured the mail settings and built the database in mysql When I open the index.php file it comes out blank. not sure if this means there is a config error? can someone help me? thanks rob
