[RoundCube Users] Flush the cache?

If I switch off "enable_caching" then everything works perfectly. So I am guessing it is the cache. I am running the latest beta release of Roundcube on RHEL4, talking to a Cyrus imap server. In my RC server I happen to see that if the user hasn't set up his identities, when composing he gets a user(a)local.network where local.network is our local (private network) SMTP server. I'm sure yet if it's trying to get the value from the 'smtp_server' field or the 'default_host' (this is the imap configuration host). hi all, i just gave roundcube another shot on my old P3-450 server and am amazed.;) Last time i checked it wouldn't show any other folders than Inbox (running cyrus with unixhierachy). But now that works like a charm. And it performs very well on that poor loaded machine, might be even better than ilohamail. Thx for that. After some testing i got a few suggestions: 1.I think it would be quite comfortable to have the "new message"-button also present when actually viewing a message. Or even better, having an completely editable menu-bar? 2.Actions for multiple messages (like moving 10 message to a different folder, marking them read/imporant...) 3.The abillity to sort the folders as i like (e.g. the important ones at the top..) 4.reading a signature from a file on the server (i have mine in ~/fortunesig) Thats all i could think of now, great work so far! [RoundCube Users] from address display problem

I have a from address configured in personal preferences. However, what shows up in sent mail as the user name is the info from the passwd file for the user that apache is running as. Thus, the address is correct, but the name is wrong. Any ideas on what could be causing this? I won\'t have time to dig into the code til saturday afternoon.

As a wild guess I changed the value below from TRUE to FALSE in main.inc.php as a test. Now my inbox updates immediately and new items now appear after login so the issues seems fixed. [RoundCube Users] Quota problem

Hi there, I use CVS Roundcube, and I try to get the quota working. I check in the source code, and saw that the "disk usage" in rc is calculated from the imap command QUOT1 GETQUOTA ROOT "INBOX" (I know QUOT1 is only the way to recognize response). The problem is that when I ask this to my courier-imap server, it does NOT reply something RC expects. I know it is not a rc problem, but I ask on a courier-imap newsgroup and nobody awnsers. Could you help me please ? I'm sure it is a simple problem for someone who knows well imap. The message I posted on the NG, with technical info is juste below. Hello, I am currently receiving the following error when I try to log in for the first time. [20-Feb-2006 00:44:59 -0500] IMAP Error: Authentication failed (LOGIN):<br>"a001 NO LOGIN failed" in on line 0 I am guessing it is due to the fact that I have no clue what I should be entering for the following config options. I really have no idea what they do exactly. // Path to a virtuser table file to resolve user names and e-mail addresses $rcmail_config['virtuser_file'] = ''; // Query to resolve user names and e-mail addresses from the database // %u will be replaced with the current username for login. // The query should select the user's e-mail address as first col $rcmail_config['virtuser_query'] = ''; Any help would be appreciated. Hello guys. I'm having problem with Apache + Php 4 + RoundCube + Mysql 5 + Dbmail 2.0.something. Somethimes and only with some users after an user accesses the webmail everything works as expected BUT the child he just instanciated (in apache) never closes... the apache process goes 100% and stays in "Write" forever until the apache child sigfault or I restart apache manually. Seems like Roundcube goes somehow in a dead lock when finishing the execution of the current page... I added the array, deleted the users from the database and their profiles (to start fresh again). I am not seeing any difference with the adding of the array. In the main.inc.php file, there is a section that reads: // This domain will be used to form e-mail addresses of new users // Specify an array with 'host' => 'domain' values to support multiple hosts $rcmail_config['mail_domain'] = 'domain.com'; I have tried several ways to add the array and it seems not to work. Hi, Always for my problem of charset If we take an example : é (e accent aigu) (é in html) : * with ISO-8859-1(5), 8 bits are = 11101001 * with UTF-8 , bits are = 11000011 10101001 If you read UTF-8 character with a ISO-8859-1 reader (very much used in France), result = 2 characters = Ã© We cannot use this solution which is not readable for my French contacts Thank you to look at the problem :-) -- Marc Auzanneau

After a long period of development, we're proud to announce the first official Beta release of our webmail client. Many bugfixes and some new features have found their way into this version. For a detailed list of improvements, please refer to the Changelog [1]. Please forgive us, if the feature you're requested is not available yet or the bug you're reported has not been fixed in this release. The project is still under heavy development but nobody is working on it full-time. Because of that, things will probably take more time than you expect but until you don't get an answer on your requests, they are bot rejected or ignored. [RoundCube Users] postfix/smtp and rc

Should be a simple resolution, I have a setup with postfix+dovecot for my SMTP/IMAP server. Trying to set up smtp mailer from RC but getting "failed to add reciepient" initially I was getting auth errors, but added the %u and %p which stopped that problem. I have a working postfix build and can send/recv email no problems from the command line. Any Suggestions? Thanks, Greg

Hi, Only recently joined the list, so sorry if this has already been discussed. I've set my language to en_GB, and it appears as en_GB in the "language" field in the mysql table. However, roundcube doesn't display messages/labels in en_GB. In rcube_shared.inc, in the routine rcube_label, the line: include_once($INSTALL_PATH.'program/localization/'.$sess_user_lang.'/labelsinc'); is loading en_US labels (i.e. 'program/localization/en_US/labels.inc') In preferences, English (US) is selected. [RoundCube Users] Mail sent from apache

I have the latest cvs of roundcube installed and it seems to be working properly except for the fact that all email that I send from it is sent from apache instead of the user I am logged in as. Anybody know what is causing this? I do not have a setting in the virtuser_file setting. Do I need something in their to translate my user name into an email address? I thought the issues I have had with upgrading were unique to my environment, but based on some of the posts from tonight, this is not the case. [RoundCube Users] 0.1 Beta and extra folders list

I have created extra folders but after the 0.1beta the space for them in the Folders list on the left side is only very narrow. I can see that an icon is there but only a sliver of it. Hi, Its quite odd, my session seems to expire whether I am clicking on things or not around the same time. I have this variable set in the config file:- $rcmail_config['session_lifetime'] = 60; My session seems to last around 5 minutes I think. Then I get the red box saying my session is invalid or expired. Has anyone got any ideas... Its not just when I am writing an email. This time I was clicking around the options etc..
