Hello all, I recently installed the RoundCube and add the plugin "markasjunk", but, how we know, this just move the message to Spam/Junk folder. I know that exist "markasjunk2" that is possible configure SpamAssassin AutoLearn, but I can't reconfigure SpamAssassin righnow. I just need a plugin that create a new filter every time user click "mark as junk". Can anyone help me? Tks. -- Renata Dias

I wonder if http://rkhunter.sourceforge.net/ is still recommended to be installed as a security measure on servers. Since SourceForge is behind roundcube, I assumed this could be asked here. If not, kindly advise where to ask about rkhunter last version for Linux server. Thanks

Multiserver Dropdown List didn't work (v 1.1.1)

Hello, I've setup Roundcube 1.1.1 on an server with PHP 5.6. In my config file I defined an array with two server. But I didn't get a dropdown list on the login page. $config['default_host'] = array ( 'ssl://server1:993', 'tls://server2:143' ); Has anyone an idea what is wrong or did this function changed in Version 1.1? password plugin: bug in the vpopmaild driver

Hello, in the password plugin of the latest roundcubemail-1.1.1 the change password connection is not working because of an error, causing a "$addr cannot be empty ()" error in my log. The file drivers/vpopmaild.php has to patched in this way - $result = $vpopmaild->connect($hostname, $port, null); + $result = $vpopmaild->connect($host, $port, null); at the beginning of the save() method. regards Roberto

Hello, I've configured XLIST and the Namespace in my Dovecot Server. In the Roundcube settings it is possible to define the Special Folder List. Is ist possible to configure Dovecot that the Special Folders set up with Roundcube are also marked when performing a IMAP List Request? Thanks

Connection to storage server failed

My one active Roundcubemail user started getting this message recently and of course cannot access his mail. So I googled it and landed at: http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=473 I did the process of deleting his dovecot files. My directory layout is different, everything is under /home/vmail/doman/user/ Still cannot log in, and now no dovecot files (btw, I tested this with one of my accounts that uses Thunderbird for imap connections and new dovecot files were built). I read on down the suggestions, but am not finding anything. I can't really tell about the password problem, as I use mysql for the password. Any suggestions of how to fix this?

Problem running the calendar sql-command

Hello, some days ago I did a cleam installation of Roundcube, as offered I downloaded version 1.1.0. Installation went well, Roundcube is working as intended. Yesterday I installed calendar-plugin, an run: mysql -u root -p roundcubemail < /var/lib/roundcube/plugins/calendar/drivers/database/SQL/mysql.initial.sql After typing the password I get: ERROR 1064 (42000) at line 26: You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MariaDB server version for the right syntax to use near 'tinyint(1) NOT NULL DEFAULT '0', `created` datetime NOT NULL DEFAULT '1000-01-' at line 7 Is there a problem with the SQL-code, or is this a problem with MariaDB? Can't install Kolab plugins

Embedding roundcube UI into AngularJS application

Hello, I am about to integrate roundcube with existing CRM application we develop. Other than creating plugins for server side and client side, I plan to embed roundcube inline into existing application build on AngularJS. The plan is to embed roundcube UI into AngularJS app using an iframe element: 1) Configure roundcube to render only email related UI, without "chrome" elements, i.e. header and footer. 2) Apply our styling to all roundcube UI, using a plugin. 3) Implement plugins allowing to add UI elements and behaviour to roundcube UI for quick interaction with our CRM using postMessage API. The goal is to create smooth integration allowing users to work with email and CRM information at the same time. CARDDAV unknown SSL error

Hi list, I've recently upgraded to PHP 5.6 and this problem has shown up: roundcube: cdfopen: Could not open: 0 could not connect to the host " myhost.mydomain.me": stream_socket_client(): unable to connect to ssl:// 127.0.0.1:443 (Unknown error) I've loaded the CA file into "openssl.cafile" php.ini but no workey. Could anybody shed some light on the nature of the error, or at least how to get more debugging info in order to fix it? I'm using RC 1.0.4 Thanks! - leo

Error in DDL upgrade while upgrading from 0.9.5 to 1.0.5

Hi On upgrading to roundcube 1.0.5 from 0.9.5 using installto.sh I got: Executing database schema update. PHP Warning: Directive 'magic_quotes_gpc' is deprecated in PHP 5.3 and greater in Unknown on line 0 Updating database schema (2013042700)... [OK] Updating database schema (2013052500)... [OK] Updating database schema (2013061000)... [FAILED] ERROR: Error in DDL upgrade 2013061000: [7] ERROR: relation "cache_index" does not existAll done. This is with a postgres database. And there's still the connection to the 'real' darpanet to negotiate. Oh well, there is no such thing as privacy, certainly not security, any longer in this web worldwide. Point of information

Here's a question. I like the idea of pop mail. My mail program downloads my mail from my mail server and that's it. The mail is deleted from my mail server. With webmail, my mail server has all my mail forever, for easy reading at their leisure. Now I realize that there is no longer any trust in this world, that the NSA has long since destroyed all that, betrayed us all, and that the internet is actually no more than a spy platform now rather than the glorious enabler of freedom that we, I anyway, foolishly thought it was ... that darpa played us all for fools. Still ... What I do now is set my mail reading program to retrieve my mail from my mail provider, save what I want locally using my mail reading program, then use round cube to answer what I want to answer and move all the mail to the trash before exiting. I have to use round cube to answer my mail because my provider offers only imap and does not allow me to send imap mail except through its round cube. For all I know sdf.org is operated by th NSA. I asked, got no response. So how do I know my mail is really being deleted at my mail provider's server. Google never ever deletes mail. The only one who loses access to deleted google mail is the person to whom it is addressed. I assume the same is true of round cube mail? That my email provider retains copies of all my mail, and the only who loses access to it is myself when I delete it? I also realize that my provider could simply copy all my pop3 mail on receipt ... but at least that is a overt dirty filthy trick. It seems to be a 'feature' of webmail?

Turn off addressee autocomplete on a per-user basis

I've recently been exposed to a Roundcude installation that's being trialled. Because some of the other people who will be using it desire autocomplete capability, the installation has two lisst of Contact info enabled by default, a personall address book and another which is a local LDAP server. I can't seem to remove that LDAP addressbook entry from my list of Contacts, or at least toggle it on/off. I am actually wanting to turn off autocomplete altogether but removing the things that allow autocomplete to function seemed like a good place to start. I'd also like, when having typed the username of someone in the default domain into the To: list NOT to have Roundcube tell me that I need at least one recipient when I know I already have one. Any clues?

mailto: from firefox

Hi, I'd like to be able to click on a mailto: link in firefox (iceweasel) and have it handled in another tabe by the round cube that handles my mail account. I didn't see a way to add another webmail client in firefox 31.4.0, so I typed about:config in the location box and searched for mailto:, and found the entries for yahoo and gmail. Since I have no gmail account I overwrote the name and uri there, specifying the uri I use for round cube on my account. But nothing happened. Yahoo and Gmail still show up under Edit | Preferences | Applications | mailto:, although about:config does show gmail gone and my mail provider's uri in its place. As well, Yahoo and Gmail had other stuff in the uri to reflect composition mode and the address to send to. How do I invoke round cube from firefox passing the to address and starting a compose session? Thanks.

Errors after upgrading to 1.1.0 - Class "PEAR" not found and Class "Mail_mime" not found

Hi, Thanks in advance for reading this. --- Prior to upgrading to 1.1.0 my Roundcube 1.0.5 installation (Ubuntu 12.04 LTS) worked just fine. When I went to run the bin/update.sh command like so: bin/update.sh --package roundcube --version=1.1 --dir=./SQL I received this error: PHP Fatal error: Class 'PEAR' not found in /var/www/roundcubemail/program/lib/Roundcube/bootstrap.php on line 100 I checked and found mention of php-pear in this official installation guide: http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Howto_Install I installed that package and was then able to successfully complete the db schema upgrade process. Later when I attempted to respond to an email the "Sending message..." note stayed on screen much longer than expected. I looked in the error logs and found this message: roundcube: PHP Fatal error: Class 'Mail_mime' not found in /var/www/roundcubemail/program/steps/mail/sendmail.inc on line 362 I looked through all three guides and did not find mention of "mime": * http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Howto_Install * http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Howto_Upgrade * http://trac.roundcube.net/wiki/Howto_Requirements nor did I find instructions telling me to use PEAR to install any modules. I did see mention of Composer, but the guides above made no reference to it that I could find. On the getcomposer.org site I looked at the "Using Composer" section: https://getcomposer.org/doc/00-intro.md#using-composer which suggested running: php composer.phar install but I did not find a composer.phar file. I did find a composer.json-dist file, but no references to composer.json or composer.json-ist in the documentation (aside from some rewrite rules blocking direct access). Are there missing steps in the directions?
