Attachments whose names has accented characters issue

Hi, I have problem when I want to see emails that have attachments whose names has accented characters (á, é, ñ, etc.) When I receive an email with attachment whose name has accented characters, the attachment is ignored. Can anyone help me, and suggest some way to solve this situation. Thanks in advance. Jorge Colaccini

Hello, I have a server running QmailToaster and Roundcube Webmail .0.9.5 I have one user who gets her apostrophies replace with ' No other users complain of this. I can't reproduce the issue. The only way she knows it's happened is when the user replies back to her. I think it's happening on the other end but before I start directing the blame else where I want to know if anyone else has seen this issue. Thoughts? Denny

Hello Everybody, i'm having a hard time getting RC to work with the "password"-Plugin. Even though the DSN is set to @10.0.1.51 (MySQL with the Users/PW) RC tries to connect to the DB @10.0.1.52, it's own IP-Address (RC with local MySQL), where it obviously fails with the error message stated below, when trying to change the password. Picture Signature

Hi there, Im sure im not the only one but really...ive searched online for the last hour to understand how to add a picture to my signature and till cant find the answer anywhere. I've tried to link to a page i host which only contains the picture using the following code: <a href="http://www.project-33.com.au/logo.html">www.project-33.com.au</a> And i also tried: <img src="http://www.project-33.com.au/logo.html"> In both cases i first selected the html box and then pasted the code. All i see after i save this information and open a new email, is the exact text without formatting. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me out, i would love to have a more professional signature then just plain text. Thanks in advance! Saskia PS: I am using my personal email (saskiapoppema(a)gmail.com) because my hosting company needed to re-direct stuff (or something) and i cant receive emails for 48 hours on my business account.

Persistent Login Plugin: Can't logout

Hello, I'm using the persistent-login plugin: http://www.insanefactory.com/roundcube-persistent-login-plugin/ When I activate the remember feature at the login page I can't logout anymore. Pressing Log Out brings me back to the login form, but simply doing a reload or visiting roundcube at a later time automatically logs me in again. Is this bug known? Any workaround? Is AuthToken working better? I use the UserData cookie method, browser is Chromium on Linux. Thanks, Florian

Hello. Some of my mail users use 'mail.mydom.org' instead of 'mydom.org' for their domain part of email address, this happend due to incorrect value in 'mail_domain' variable. Is it possible some how to change value manually to 'mydom.org', e.g. with SQL statement?

Soooo.... (I had a similar problem in July with a different error, but that was solved with a strange session.auto_start in roundcube/.htaccess) I can access the mysql database with the round cube user (this was an existing working install, but the server has gone through a series of software updates. This is a text edit options Q: I use the CPanel version of RC, and have no experience with the DT client. I've been to the RC site and looked at the screen shots of various interface examples. With my host's CPanel version, if I'm in "compose" mode I have a button (small triangle) just to the left of the word "From", avail. to drop-down a really limited range of options, beginning with "Editor Type". But one of the s-shot examples on the RC site, where the user is in "compose", it shows a whole lot of other things available from the same spot, the same area-- all the things I want: changing the font, the font size, color of font, highlighting ability, etc., etc. Don't want to sound blasphemous, but I'd be happy with about 50% of the options you get in Gmail. In Settings there's an option to default to a specific font, but that's it. Thanks, Mark Rucker

Edit Headers

People, Is there a convenient way to edit headers (like in Thunderbird)? I need to put activity dates at the front of the Subjects so I can sort Meetup mails properly - I have written a little Ruby script to do this but it would be much nicer to be able to do it from within RCM and not have to manually delete dovecot files etc. I tried putting: edit_headers.php into the drivers dir but it appears that that is for spam management (?) and I couldn't see any changed I/F to access it. RoundCube Not Loading

I've installed Roundcube (v0.9.5-1) on CentOS 6.5. This was working fine until we made some extensive changes to our apache config. Now we have a situation where when I got to www.site.co.uk/webmail I simply get a directory listing of what is in /usr/share/roundcubemail instead of the login page I used to get. The new Apache config doesn't seem to have any obvious issues with it, everything else loads fine, there are no errors logged at all. Danny

How to configure Password plugin with Roundcube and mail server on different systems?

Dear Roundcube folks, having a system with a Postfix and Dovecot (using vmm [1]), a second system with Roundcube accessing that system and a third one with a PostgreSQL installation, I wonder how I need to configure the Password plugin [2]. I found a blog entry in German instructing how to do that [3], but it does not work for me as I configured Dovecot to use password type SSHA512. Setting `password_crypt_hash` to `sha512` I get an error, when actually trying to replace the old with the new password. PASSWORD_CRYPT_ERROR I also do not understand, why there are `password_dovecotpw` configurations options. Do I need to install these on the Web server running Roundcube? Unable to log into Mailman member options with HTTPS

Attachments limit

Hi, Are there some limit in the number of attached files in one email that Roundcube can process without problem? I am experience some problem to view (preliminar view and open in a new window) emails that have more than 30 files attached. When I try to view, for example in preliminar view, appears the loading message and RC do not show the email and the loading message with loading animated image do not dissapear never. May be a problem with the quantity of attachments or another cause. TIA. Jorge Colaccni
