upload size limit

I've set main.cf in postfix, php.ini, and nginx.conf to an 8M file upload limit but Roundcube still states a 2M limit. Is there somewhere else I need to specify this? - Grant

Managesieve plugin not working with dovecot 1.2 anymore?

Hi Alec, I am testing 1.0-rc with, now, an hour old version from git. My goal is to upgrade an existing RC version, currently running 0.8.6 to 1.0 when 1.0 is officially released. The server is running Debian Squeeze (oldstable). It seems that the managesieve plugin doesn't work anymore with an older Dovecot version (1.2). Even when I set "managesieve_port" to "2200", the plugin doesn't load. RC 1.0-rc: Where's the "Move to...." select box

Hello all, Somebody knows where the "Select" drop-down menu went? You know, when a message was opened to read, the option "Move to..." to directly move the mail into a folder: <div class="toolbarselect"> <select name="mailboxlist" onchange="rcmail.command('moveto', this.options[this.selectedIndex].value)" class="mailboxlist decorated"><option value="">Move to...</option> I see that in 1.0-rc this option is now under "More" -> "Move to...", but the select menu is much smaller now. I searched through some of the recent mails in the mailing list for such a change but couldn't find anything (except "Re: [RCD] [Svn] [roundcube/roundcubemail] 9a0153: Implemented menu actions to copy/move messages, added folder-selector widget (#1484086)" maybe). It's clearly a convenience question, I know. If it's necessary to manually enable it somewhere, please let me know. thx

Forward Headers: In-Reply-To & References Headers

Hi all, RoundCube version: 0.9.1 I have a use case where I need to have the In-Reply-To & References header included for forwards. This is working just fine for replies, but not forwards. From my testing GMail does include these. Before I go creating a plugin, I wanted to see if this has been done before or if there is any support for it currently? Large inbox slow

We are hosting a webmail service using roundcube 0.8.1 and a number of our users with inboxes in excess of 8000-10000 messages are experiencing extremely slow response times (We also downloaded a recent copy and it's just as slow). We are using Dovecot 2.1 as the IMAP server and have not had any issues with clients like outlook or Thunderbird, but as far as we understand it those clients keep a local copy of the messages for quick retrieval while Roundcube is doing everything over IMAP. Is there any thing we can do or should look at to improve the response times for loading an inbox with many thousands of messages?

Manage Sieve intercept facebook mail

Hi, is there a way to intercept the mail that sends facebook groups? I would like to move the mail sent from facebook groups to another folder, I would like to do it for certain mail address only. Facebook groups sends mail in a strange format and I cannot intercept the recipient email address using the manage sieve plugin. I cannot filter for "TO" because the TO is something like: To: "name of the facebook groups." <isOfTheGroups(a)groups.facebook.com> In the mail header I see that the mail of the recipient is specified in the*FOR* attribute: Received: from mx-out.facebook.com (outmail009.ash2.facebook.com [66.220.155.143]) by mail.mydomain.org (Postfix) with ESMTPS id C151B2C209 *for *<*myemail(a)mydomain.or*g>; Sun, 2 Feb 2014 21:04:00 +0100 (CET) Should I use that for the filter? If yes, how can I do it? Thanks.

List selection does not easily work

Hi, in my new version of roundcubemail it is not easy to select list items. By single clicking list items, e.g. in folder managment, they do not get selected. You have do some little drag & dropping until it works. This is very annoying... Any clue on this? I'm running ubuntu with kolab-packages roundcubemail 1:1.0~dev20131031-1~kolab1.2 roundcubemail-plugins-kolab 1:3.1.7-0~kolab1 Henning

Integrating Roundcube login into WordPress page

I have a text widget in WordPress that logs into squirrel mail and redirects the user to their inbox. I’ve been looking for a way to do with is RoundCube, but haven’t found anything so far. Wordpress and round cube are installed in separate folders, of course, but are currently on the same server. However, a solution that is not dependent on localhost would be best, of course. Has anyone done this? I don’t want to duplicate effort. And I don’t want this to be tied to Wordpress, really. I just want a widget to appear in the column with a login and password field someone can fill in, hit “login” and be taken to Roundcube. -- ɹןʇnqן

filter features

Hello, all, I'm having some trouble using the filter settings. Firstly, I have a number of filter categories that nest inside one another (e.g. different destinations for subject contains "AB*" vs. subject contains "ABC*"), so the order of my filters is critical. Unfortunately, I can't find any way of editing/changing the order of my filters except by editing the sieve file, which I am enjoined not to do (I think it just breaks the GUI), or deleting and re-adding in the desired order. Does anyone know a better way? Secondly, is there any way to run a specific custom filter (or group of filters) on request rather than running it on receipt? Examples: "Right, I've read all the important bits from that mailing list, clear the lot out of my inbox and into its own folder", or just "I'm done with my inbox contents, now file it all". I used to use this facility a lot in KMail, and I found it really helped keep my inbox clear, and saved a surprising amount of time compared to manually filing each e-mail. I'm currently running searches and dragging the results. Sorry if this is a feature request, please feel free to tell me, constructively, where to put it. Regards,

How to debug the password plugin (sql/doveadm)?

I can't get the password plugin to work. When I enter the new password I only get the message "Could not save new password." I am using the sql driver with a postgresql db and the doveadm tool. The problem is that I can't find any explanation anywhere. I checked all logs in /var/log/roundcube/. I tried debug_level 1, 2, 4 and 8 and also password_log in the password plugin configuration. I also tried the SQL UPDATE manually and it works. RC not replying properly to mailing list post.

Hi All, Anyone had the following problem? When replying to a new mailing list posting with "reply all", the reply goes only To: the mailing list. Expected behavior: To: the person, Cc: to the mailing list. The message in question has no Reply-To: header or anything of the sort. The relevant headers are just: From: user(a)gmail.com To: mailinglist(a)example.com I'm a subscriber of the mailing list. I hit Reply All, and I get only one address: "mailinglist(a)example.com". Unless there is a Reply-To: header, the From: address must be one of the To: recipients!

need help configuring server to use managesieve plugin

when we click on "Filters" under "Settings" we get the message: "Unable to connect to server" (which makes perfect sense since it isn't listening (yet)). From what I've been able to find on configuring pigeonhole (sieve/managesieve) for dovecot I need to use either LDA or LMTP as the delivery agent. We use procmail as the mail delivery agent. Which brings me to my questions: Does anyone know a way to configure dovecot and roundcubemail to work with procmail and still be able to use the managesieve plugin for message filtering? If so, how? Or is there another option to do message filtering in roundcubemail that doesn't rely on installing pigeonhole for dovecot? What would that be? I do not really understand what you discuss about, and this in such an emotional manner. It started about "Reply to Mailing list", but now you even fight about the "Reply" and "Reply all" buttons. This is ridiculous, as it is well defined and leaves NO ROOM for interpretation. http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5322#section-3.6.2 I repeat this in a short sentence each: Reply: You answer to "From" XOR "Reply-to", with Reply-to taking precedence. Reply all: Like reply, plus a copy to all (known) recipients of the original: To:, CC: (obviously not BCC:) So the creator of this thread got it wrong. NO BUTTON replies to the To: field, if it is overridden by the Reply-to: This is the sole purpose of the Reply-to field. If you answer to _this_ message, no matter how, I will receive my copy through the list, AND IN NO CASE directly! To do this, you had to add me to To: or CC: manually. This behaviour is WANTED by design of the RFC. ONLY IF I had put more addresses into the To or CC fields, you could make a difference with Reply or Reply all. Again this is WANTED by the RFC. To vary from this, would mean you create a mail client that violates RFC and works differently from ANY OTHER common sense program. It also is common practice for mail list programs, to put their address into the "Reply-to" field. Since decades I used literally hundreds of mailing-lists, and they actually all work the same. So again, this is not in your hands, thus not worth to fight about. Now let's have look at Reply-List. Because a "Reply to list" is NOT defined in a RFC, this is entirely up to the developers. They SHOULD just EXPLAIN what they really mean by it, so everybody KNOWS what happens beforehand. Everyone may make suggestions, this is an open world, though. And the developers will try to honour what they find feasible. My 2 cents In all programs I know of - that even have this button, a modern fashion - the Reply-List button honours the Reply-To field. Simple as that. I do not see a difference to Reply, and I cannot even imagine what else it should do, so I would agree to those who say this button is simply dispensable... But again, this may be my ignorance. It is entirely up to the developers to define AND DOCUMENT its behaviour. DOCUMENT your (mis-)feature properly, and everything is well. Close your ears to screaming and flaming. BUT AGAIN: DO NOT FIGHT OVER REPLY AND REPLY TO ALL. It is well defined and done correctly by RC! Cheers Hardy
