Hi, in a previous mail I asked how disable mail sort in Roundcube and ALEC reply: Add this option name (message_sort_col) to 'dont_override' array in config file. Now, If I click in list option there arent't option to sort mail,(this is ok) but if I click on a column such as Subject,Sender,.. Roundcube order mail by this column. Can I disable this? Graphical bug with larry skin and vacation plugin

plugin button to open a webpage

Greetings, im not entirely certain its possible, as it would be outside the command scope so far as i understand Roundcube, but I'm trying to make a button which essentially serves as a link to a webpage outside of the roundcube environment. the code i have so far is: $this->add_button(array( 'type' => 'link', 'label' => 'Anti Spam', 'command' => 'plugin.as224', 'class' => 'rlink', 'classact' => 'rlink active', 'title' => 'buttontitle', ), 'taskbar'); the command is a registered hook of init() for the plugin, although once the hook is called during click, im not certain i have any code thats capable of opening the link. 'command' seems limited to things roundcube does naturally, or its plugins wish to do.

hello again Roundcube 0.8.1 running on FreeBSD 9.0 installed from ports I have repeatedly the following message open() "/usr/local/www/roundcube/skins/larry/functions.js" failed (2: No such file or directory) of course the file is not present , but why is it called when using the "larry" skin ? problem when transfering PDF files as attachement

Automatic lowercase of login

I noticed that Roundcube is automatically lowercasing usernames when the first login fails. In program/include/rcmail.php (0.7.2), if ($imap_login = $this->imap->connect($host, $username_lc, $pass $imap_port, $imap_ssl)) $username = $username_lc; I think there's a bug here: the Roundcube user that gets created in the database uses the original capitalization. As an example, our IMAP server is Dovecot and our accounts are case-sensitive. That means user(a)example.com != USER(a)example.com, for better or worse. We've got $rcmail_config['login_lc'] = false. I've just created an IMAP account for roundcube(a)viabit.com. If I go to log in to Roundcube -- and do so as ROUNDCUBE(a)viabit.com -- the login fails. So, the username gets silently lowercased and the second try succeeds transparently to the user. But, the user in the Roundcube database has the capitalization that I entered: roundcube=# select username from users order by user_id DESC limit 1; username ---------------------- ROUNDCUBE(a)viabit.com (1 row) If I now log in with the correct capitalization, a second user is created: roundcube=# select username from users order by user_id DESC limit 2; username ---------------------- roundcube(a)viabit.com ROUNDCUBE(a)viabit.com (2 rows) This has confused a few of our users, because they see different stuff when they use a different capitalization to log in. My intent was that this should fail; that's why our IMAP server is case-sensitive in the first place. As far as our IMAP server is concerned, roundcube@ and ROUNDCUBE@ are two completely different people, so a client should not assume that they're the same under any circumstances. But in any case, if you *do* assume that they're the same, then they should share the same contacts, settings, etc.

How to download some plugins - may need docs fix?

Hi all, greetings, I confess I am a little ashamed to ask such question, but.... how to download some plugins, like for example, the 'additional_message_headers'? Why I ask: From the plugin repository page (1) I found the link to the plugin I want (2). There I have a list of files, that when clicked shows the code for the file - (3) for example. For this plugin (and probably many others) where can I find specific download instructions in a practical way? For many other plugins I was able to download the tgz package, how to proceed with this one? Are there specific instructions for those on github? Or should I look for generic github instructions? Feature Request: Independent owncloud plugin

Hello list, I have noticed that an owncloud plugin exists which uses kolab auth: http://git.kolab.org/roundcubemail-plugins-kolab/tree/plugins/owncloud It would be great if someone could provide this owncloud plugin which uses the current logged in username with the password and authenticates against owncloud. defaults in the search criteria list

Using rc 0.5.3 on Linux. In the search box in the top-right corner, when I click the little magnifying glass symbol, a list drops down, containing several criteria: Subject, Sender, Recipient, Copy, Bcc, Entire message, All folders. The accounts have several IMAP folders. We use the search box to, well, search for stuff in those folders. The problem is that the default selection is, I think, Subject and Sender. We want the default selection to be Subject, Recipient, and maybe Entire message too. I went into the main config file and did this: $rcmail_config['search_mods'] = array('*' => array('subject'=>1, 'to'=>1)); Then I created a new folder, clicked on it in the folder list, then clicked the magnifying glass in the Search box. The selected criteria were Subject and Sender. It did not seem to obey the change I made in the config file. Is there any way to fix this? Thanks! -- Florin Andrei http://florin.myip.org/

Hi, when I reply to a HTML mail, it seems not to be possible to insert answers into the quoted text block without that my new text looks like part of the original text. I mean, I press enter in the middle of the text I'm answering to insert a comment, but the blue line at the left does not get interrupted. Thanks, Manfred

omnis network email fail

I cannot log into my email account that is associated with my Omnis network web hosting. This just happened out of nowhere today. I have checked the username and password and they are correct. I am getting login failed messages. I am also unable to change the password. I get error has occurred messages. Anybody else having this problem?

They clearly exist, because the "private" and "work" labels make it form vCard into SQL, but are specifically dropped for LDAP because LDAP currently does not support them. Hello list: I started using RC 0.8.1 yesterday, and wanted to congratulate everybody involved for a great piece of software: Thank you! LDAP has significantly improved, and I am now able to sync all fields from my iOS devices with an LDAP backend that can also be edited via RC. An execption are the two fields birthDate and anniversary. The issue is that RC stores them by default in "Y-m-d" (yyyy-mm-dd) format, but iOS expects the field to be in Unix timestamp format: 1) So when I create a birthday field as "1975-09-24" in RC, it gets stored as "1975-09-24" in LDAP, and in turn this is displayed on iOS as "1 January 1970" (the default value), because "1975-09-24" it is obviously not a valid timestamp. 2) The other way round, when I create a birthday field as "1975-09-24" in iOS, the field is stored as 180741600 in LDAP, and then CORRECTLY displayed on RC as "24 September 1975": so all dandy up to here. However, when I try to edit that (correctly displayed) date field in RC, the behaviour outlined in 1) converts the timestamp to "Y-m-d" format in LDAP, breaking the field for iOS. In summary: round-trip editing of date fields does not work at the moment with RC and iOS. I have tried to update rcmail_format_date_col() from program/steps/addressbook/func.inc (using date format string "s" for timestamp), and format_date() from program/steps/addressbook/func.inc but RC still writes the date field as "Y-m-d", independent of what I use in rcmail_format_date_col(). Any ideas how to fix this final issue? Thank you in advance, Achim

I just learned about a cool feature which last pass uses... restrict login to a specific country or countries It would certainly be a benefit to me to be able to restrict logins (in my case) to canada & us from the individual setup screen per client. I have seen multiple instances of spam injection into roundcube via a hacked client. Always by a foreign country 'hacker'. Limiting to certain countries by IP would not eliminate those hackers which are proxied somehow into CA/US, but it would sure help.
