Hi, i have a little Problem with attachment upload. My PHP Settings are : Max upload size : 8MB Max Ram Consume : 24MB When i try to upload an attachment, it only works when the file is smaller as 1 MB. When it is bigger, Roundcube tries to upload it, and just stops, whithout any notification. The upload is just ignored and, the empty Mail Form is shown as it was before. Is this a known Problem or could there be a missconfiguration on my side ? Thank You Greetings Tom

After many hours of backtracking I managed to find a difference in the behaviour of iil_C_FetchHeader. Extra newlines within RoundCube-composed messages

Messages composed via 0.1-rc1 are double spaced. If I compose email via an alternative means, mutt on the local MTA for instance, the spacing is normal. This seems to be the case while composing email via MSIE or Firefox. Server config: Cent4 Postfix 2.2.10 Dovecot 0.99 Maildrop 2.0.2 Spamassassin 3.1.9 Apache 2.0.59 MySQL 5.0.44 PHP 5.1.6 Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Sean

saving login details in FF

Hello, I am new to Roundcube and have one question: what should I do to force my FireFox 2.0.0.4 to keep my login and (hopefully) password when I want to read mail. Right now I have to type email and pass each time I log in. I am not sure why FF does not want to remember these details. I have no problem about saving login details with Squirrelmail, for example. Same with IE really, although I do not use it on a daily basis. I use default FF options. Any hints appreciated! Warm regards, Zbigniew Szalbot

Charset problem

Hi, I have a "small" problem with roundcube. The subject and from field when they are encoded in iso-8859-1 the characters apears in a non normal state. The Folowing string results in: =?iso-8859-1?Q?Ant=F3nio_Almeida?=AntÃ³nio Almeida This both for from field and subject. Can this be roundcube problem? In standard clientes like OE, MSOutlook, thunderbird, the 3 more used, all apears OK. Thanks in advanced, Jorge

RoundCube mailing lists...

RoundCube developers, users and list lurkers, the machine running the RC mailing lists and archive has just been down for a little over 24 hours. This happened after what was supposed to be routine 10 minutes downtime while moving to out new server-room. Needles to say, things didn't go as planed. Apparently the Linux ext3 file system does not handle large folders all that well, and I had one with at least a million files in it. This pissed off fsck.ext3 to the point where it started to move these files to lost+found. Long story short, I no longer trust that machine (or any machine with an ext3 file system on it) to do any important work, and one of it's most important tasks is the RC mailing lists and archive. So; as I don't really have the time to do mailing list maintenances these days, I'd like to ask for someone to take over the running/hosting of our lists. The 3 lists require very little resources to run. Some stats: announce(a)lists.roundcube.net: - 1958 subscribers - 1 to 2 messages/month dev(a)lists.roundcube.net: - 629 subscribers - 5 to 15 messages/day users(a)lists.roundcube.net: - 474 subscribers - 3 to 10 messages/day Anyone interested please get back to me as soon as possible. Please also include a short introduction detailing your experience with e-mail systems in general and mailing lists in particular. Message vanishes when resuming editing from spell check

Steps: Compose e-mail Click "check spelling" Switches to spell check, with misspelled words underlined. Fix spelling Click "resume editing." Result: message vanishes, and the compose window is again blank. Has anyone seen this? Is there a fix? Upload attachment not working

Hi all, When composing a message, I cannot add an attachment (tried both FF2 and IE6). After clicking the upload button, I get "File upload failed" FreeBSD 6.2 Apache 2.2.4 (from ports) PHP 5.2.1_3 (from ports) suhosin 0.9.6.2 eaccelerator (from ports) v0.9.5 roundcube-0.1.20070303 (from ports) Checked an earlier build and that behaved the same. I have an open_basedir restriction set to the installation path of roundcube (/usr/local/www/roundcube) It seems that roundcube tries to store the file in /usr/local/www/roundcube/temp which is allowed under the open_basedir Switching eaccelerator off doesn't help. No entries in apache error log for the failure, nor anything to be found in roundcube's logs. (even if setting debug to level 8) Any clues, pointers, help appreciated greatly! Kind regards, Spil.

Roundcube lock-up - Charset highly likely?

When I recieve a mail containing iso-8859-1 characters, it tends to cut the </body> tag up, making it impossible to do anything, the same error with folder tree , address book, identities and signitures. Please help me!! Accidentally I deleted the contents of my inbox. It is anyhow strange that the user is not asked to confirm his choice before a whole mailbox is emptied. I cannot see the e-mails in the trash Has anyone had the same problem? What could I do to restore the e-mails lost? Thank you very much for your help in advance.

This is a brand new install of 0.1-rc1-1 and I keep getting "Your session is invalid or expired" when I try to login. It is successfully creating the new user account after authentication via imap-ssl and it is also adding a session to the database. However, I still can not login. David

End User Documentation, Screen Captures

Hey folks, I'm wondering if anyone has developed end-user text documentation and/or screen captures that explain using RoundCube. Or do you have something you've been working on? Maybe we could collaborate? We are migrating a bunch of users from a squirrelmail install to roundcube. Our process is going to be something like: 1) Users log into RoundCube and RC account gets auto-created 2) They are given the option to read RC end-user documentation intro and or flash movie screen capture with comments or audio. 3) They are given an option to import their address book from squirrelmail. Hi list, Is there any possibility for plugin concept for RC just like Squirrelmail? I'm searching for feature like change user password so that users can change their password after logged in for the first time. Any patch for this? I'm using dbmail for the imap backend with mysql. I am not a programmer. To write one will take a long time. :) I knew that it was requseted before and have been ignored. I just think that someone should write a plugin or a patch for it. It is a vital component. Thanks for the great webmail anyway. Hello Thomas, Please accept our heartfelt appreciation of this beautiful piece of software. We are planning to set up RC for our internal mail system. Win 2003, Apache, MySql, Hmail, 0.1 RC1. Running on hardened XAMPP. I have set up the preview pane. It is seen that it is possible to redirect the preview pane "watermark.html" to a file within the server, probably outside the mail folder. We are planning to use this pane to host a Mail FAQ page and also to broadcast system-wide messages. Folder outside the mail root is chosen so that uploading rights can be given to any arbitrary person. It seems to be possible to redirect this to an external page also. Is there any security breach issue involved if this is implemented this way? Regards kmn

Identities problem after upgrade to RC1

Hullo, I just upgraded and everything works fine except for identities when sending mails. The 'Sender' select box on the form is empty, even though I have an identity set-up and it was working fine before the upgrade. Can anyone help me debug and fix this? Kind regards, Tom

Hello, I'm using the svn-version of rc and since some updates the attachment-download does not work any more. For example, if I click on an attached pdf, I get a new frame with the pdf-sourcecode in it. Unable to log into latest stable release

Hi there, I've used Roundcube for quite some time, and decided to upgrade to latest stable release. Everything worked fine, and on the side, it's a nice improvement over the last version I was running. Now, for some obscure reason, I'm all of a sudden unable to log in. I have not changed any settings. Looking through the roundcube logs, I don't see anything indicating I even tried to log in, same goes for the mail.log.
