0.2.1 installer

hi, 1. I just downloaded release 0.2.1, replaced all files and load url http://www.../installer/. by step 3 is mentioned that "skin_path" and "locale_string" is missing but after adding these two it says they should be replaced by "skin" and "language". these two are already in the config file. is this an error of the installer rountine? Also "db_backend" is listed but this one is also in the db-inc.php file. 2. SMTP settings. my mail server needs pop before smtp authentification. so which SMTP AUTH type is the right one? thanks for any help jay

larry on roundcube 0.7.3

Hi, I wonder if that is possible. I tried to just copy the files in skins and plugins/*/skins from that 0.8.1 to my 0.7.3 (has to be that version due to my version of kolab), but roundcube behaves strange then. E.g. ome items are not clickable (calendars etc.). Does anyone run larry ore some other nice theme on 0.7.3 (tried to install litecube-f as well, but I can't select it as theme in roiundcube) regards, Henning

Log in to Roundcube and go to settings -> composing mail. You can select an HTML preference there. It's not possible to do that in plain-text e-mails. Jörg

roundcube plugin password

Hello, i have no idea where to adress this issue. I try to use password plugin icm with dbmail becouse i use crypt passwords in my database. mysql %c does not work (other hashing?) I found 1 error but no clue where to start fixing while i dont understand php. IMAP Search Timeouts

Good Day Everyone, I'm having an interesting problem with large mailboxes, searches, and roundcube errors. It seems that any time a IMAP search takes more than a minute to return results Roundcube returns a "Connection to storage server failed." error. If you re-run the search after the error you do end up getting the results without issue. Here are the details: - Roundcube 0.8.2 - CentOS 6.3 - php-5.3.18-1.el6.remi.x86_64 - mysql-5.5.28-1.el6.remi.x86_64 - Courier IMAP 4.2.0 - up-imapproxy-1.2.7-2.el6.x86_64 - memcached-1.4.4-3.el6.x86_64 The problem occurs with or without imapproxy and memcache in place. Dear Roundcube lovers, We just published new packages for Roundcube webmail. This service update mainly fixes the nasty bug which sneaked into the last 0.8.3 release. In addition to that, we also packed some more fixes into this release, one of them a recently reported XSS vulnerability. The buggy previous version makes the compose screen to randomly reload itself which may result in a loss of the unsent message. So if you already installed 0.8.3, please immediately update your installation with this new version. Hello folks, We kind of made it a tradition in Roundcube to add some nasty bugs with every second release we publish :-) This time a pull request accidentally was merged into the release branch instead of git-master where we usually do the testing. The effect of this bug is the compose screen randomly reloading and likely loosing the contents you're writing. There's a patch you can download [1] and apply to any 0.8.3 installation. Dear subscribers Today we can announce another service release of the Roundcube webmail package. This update adds small bug fixes and improvements to the 0.8 stable series.
