Re: [RoundCube Users] An install problem

OK, I've got mine going also, but php, or my connection string wasn't the problem. I'm running Webmin, and created my database and db user for roundcube through it. >From the Webmin interface I granted all rights to the user, but it still wasn't connecting. See error below. So I ran the following SQL: GRANT ALL PRIVILEGES ON database.* TO user@localhost IDENTIFIED BY 'password'; That's found in the INSTALL file. -----Original Message----- From: dqyang [mailto:dqyang@scut.edu.cn] Sent: Thursday, January 12, 2006 9:27 PM To: 'Wanat, David A [FPM]' Subject: Re: Re: An install problem Thanks to Thomas. The problem fixed. I download the PHP mysql extensions from mysql.com,put libmysql.dll into ext,and then add "C:\php5\ext" to %path%. To Wanat, David A: It's unnecessary to modify the target of the form action.Just add "index.php" into the default content document of IIS. -----Original Message----- From: Wanat, David A [FPM] [mailto:dwanat@iastate.edu] Sent: January 12, 2006 22:51 To: users(a)lists.roundcube.net Subject: Re: An install problem I'm having the same problem. Hey all, Ran a test of Roundcube on my local machine to have a play, looked awesome. However, when it's come to setting it up on our production server, I've encountered a weird problem. I get to the login screen, login with a username and password, and am then presented with this : * CAPABILITY IMAP4 IMAP4rev1 ACL QUOTA LITERAL+ MAILBOX-REFERRALS NAMESPACE UIDPLUS ID NO_ATOMIC_RENAME UNSELECT CHILDREN MULTIAPPEND BINARY SORT THREAD=ORDEREDSUBJECT THREAD=REFERENCES ANNOTATEMORE IDLE STARTTLS AUTH=PLAIN AUTH=LOGIN AUTH=GSSAPI cp01 OK Completed Tried PLAIN: Resource id #28 Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /Library/WebServer/Documents/webmailtest/program/ include/main.inc:573) in /Library/WebServer/Documents/webmailtest/ index.php on line 130 Any ideas? Thanks in advance, Paul Dunlop pauldunlop(a)mac.com

[RoundCube Users] Feature Request

I was wondering if there are plans to make RoundCube check your email without you having to cick the E-Mail button? It seems this would be easy to do, and would be very nice to have. Other than this minor thing, RoundCube is amazing! I am very pleased! Keep up the great work! Jeremy

[RoundCube Users] dbmail config/setup assistance.
by G Bryant 06 Jan '06

06 Jan '06

Hi all, I installed roundcube on FreeBSD 6.0-stable with php4.4.1 and mysql 5.0.16. Using exim as my MTA. Used pretty much standard installation according to the guides I found (fak3r.com). IMAP is working (tested from remote client) When I try to login, I get an error(according to the error log file): "PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 120 seconds exceeded in /usr/local/www/roundcube/program/lib/imap.inc on line 107" dbmail_imapd logs (increased debug level) show a successful login and retrieval of some mail info, and then a logout from the 127.0.0.1 connection (roundcube). With debug level set to 8, I get a response from my web login attempt, the browser says the following: "* CAPABILITY IMAP4 IMAP4rev1 AUTH=LOGIN ACL NAMESPACE SORT cp01 OK CAPABILITY completed Tried PLAIN: Resource id #28" With debug level set to 4, it just sends me back to the login page. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance Graham

[RoundCube Users] problem in roundcube
by sebastiaan＠h2u.nl 03 Jan '06

Hello, We have a problem in RoundCube. If we, after login, switch between the folders "inbox", "sent" etcetera, the messages are not visible anymore. Only after refreshing the page they show up again. The same problem occurs at the demo-account on your homepage. Furhtermore, could you tell is where we can change the configuration of RoundCube so, that after login it starts up in another language then English (in our case Dutch)? By the way: great software! Thanks in advance for your reply, Sebastiaan

[RoundCube Users] 500 Internal Server Error
by Kyle Bartosiak 30 Dec '05

30 Dec '05

Hey everyone, I'm in need of some help. Today I installed the latest CVS version of RoundCube, and now I'm getting a 500 Internal Server Error (http://www.ultimate-end.org/mail2). Looking at the INSTALL file, I followed the steps exactly. MySQL set up, config files edited, folder permissions set, so I'm not sure what the problem is. If it helps, I can post the contents of my config file. Perhaps I didn't enter something right? Thanks! Kyle
