If I am correct, there's no config switch to turn this off and show all
folders. Is there a reason for this? No one interested in seeing their
full maildir tree in Folder list?
A plugin which can enable or disable the use of imap subscriptions.
It includes a toggle on the settings page under "Server Settings".
