Yes, I agree. I hate going to the next mail all the time. It slows things down especially (or maybe ineveitably) when all I do is click "close" for all the reasons Claudio mentions anyway.
Keep up the good work though ! I think Roundcube is a great project going somewhere better and better.

the list, next message is displayed in preview pane. So, it's just an unification,
but I agree that we should provide an option to change this behaviour globally
(when working with preview pane or without it).
